Alex did another great job for us, modernizing our existing kitchen with a new backsplash and building our (IKEA) island with electrical outlets and mini fridge. Including demolition. Very pleased with the result.

Alex demolished an old, narrow, dangerous staircase with a new, wider and much safer staircase. The work was completed in a timely fashion and within the time frame stated. The area was cleaned upon completion. I am very satisfied with his work and would not hesitate in recommending his or using him again for any other renovations.

We found Alex from RenoMano at Bayview Post Magazine. I called Alex for three bathrooms complete renovation quote. Alex came and looked our bathrooms and provided the quote in couple of days. I checked the 3 references provided by Alex and also visited one his bathroom renovation project and he was almost in the finishing stage. The references were good and I liked his work/finish. We drafted the contract and asked him to start the work in about a weeks time and he did.

I have a travel job and my wife works full time, 2 kids and we are looking for a contractor who doesn’t have emergency often. We decided to leave our home key with Alex and he worked 5 or 6 days per week and there was no break in the job until the job finished. He showed up everyday around 8 am and worked until 6:30 PM approx. We are very happy with the way the whole project went and Alex did a good job.

He demolished two bathrooms at the same time and focused on the bigger bathroom first. The first bath room is about 15 x 13 feet. Alex removed an old bath tub and built a walk-in glass shower with 2x2 tiles, new tiles in floor and three feet in the wall install a 72 inch vanity, install bull nose, lights, mirror, toilet and accessories.

While he is half way through, I changed our plan slightly to make our walk in shower a bit bigger. He provided the cost for this change and he was reasonable. Once we both accept the change, Alex re-did the plumbing to center the drain due to change in the size of the Walk in shower! While he is working, the window contractor came to replace the window in the bath room and Alex was very co-operative with them and let them work for couple of hours and moved to a different bath and had an extended lunch break at my request. Alex was very co-operative with our Glass contractor (for the walk-in shower) and Vanity delivery guys.

During the day, whenever Alex needs some supply which I was supposed to buy (like Grout etc) he went to Rona and picked up whatever he needs and provided me with receipts.

The second bath is about 11 by 11 feet. He removed an old bath tub, installed new tub, new tiles in floor and three feet in the wall install a 60 inch vanity, faucets, install bull nose, lights mirror, toilet and accessories. We changed from a 48 inch vanity to 60 inch vanity with double sink based on Alex’s suggestion in this bath.

The third bath is about 12 by 12 feet in Size. Alex installed two new doors to provide access from two bed rooms. This one has a walk in shower as well. This is also complete renovation like other baths.

He also did some dry wall work in our kitchen and he painted the entire kitchen since he couldn’t get the exact paint match. The entire renovation took about 12 weeks. I would strongly recommend Alex to bathroom renovation project without any hesitation. He is a professional and nice human being. He educated us through the entire process. ?

He loves the nature and our family visited Algonquin Park based on his suggestion and it was great, Kids loved it.
