Working as a Mortgage Specialist for over a decade, I have had significant experience in dealing with new construction properties on behalf of myself, as well as my clients. When looking to build our current home, there was no hesitation in choosing Kanvi to help make our dream home a reality.

Although they are not the least expensive builder, I strongly believe they provide great value. Basic specifications are significantly superior to their counterparts, and a lot of items which would be considered upgrades with other builders are automatically included. Their reputation for high quality construction and design went along way, but it was their customer service that truly set them apart.

Chris was absolutely outstanding throughout our preliminary discussions, the sales process, and then finally design. You can tell he thoroughly enjoys what he does and is always willing to provide great feedback and general assistance. He went above and beyond for us on several occasions, ensuring that he answered all our questions in meticulous detail.

When it came to construction, Kanvi uses a program called Buildertrend that keeps track of the different build stages, while providing updates and photographs along the way. It was incredible to see this updated proactively, instead of having to constantly reach out on progress. They also accommodated several viewings during the build to witness the home as things advanced.

After being in the home for over two years now, I believe the biggest differentiator for Kanvi was how scrupulous they were in taking care of any deficiencies post construction. This is an extremely important point that I always relay to my own clients. Kanvi takes pride in their craftsmanship and ensured follow up to remedy any issues that arose after we took possession of the home.

Kanvi truly stands behind their brand, and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them for anyone looking to construct a home.

My wife and I had been looking for the right time, location, and of course builder for roughly 2 years. We visited several dozens of home and spoke with lots of builders all over Edmonton and St. Albert. After 2 years there was really only one builder we felt great about in every aspect. And that was Kanvi.

We just purchased our home from Kanvi and they have been excellent the entire process. Chris in Keswick has been exceptional! We can’t really say enough good things about Chris, down to earth and very easy to deal with from the very start. Everything has gone smoothly and there is nothing but great feelings with this home purchase. All our dealings with Kanvi left us so thankful we walked away from other potential deals. The contrast between dealing with Kanvi and others actually took us by surprise. They’ve been that great.

My advice to those looking: don’t base your decision on $ alone and don’t rush into anything. Every time we thought we were getting a “deal” with other builders it turned out there was a reason for it. Look into the company you’re wanting to build with, read the reviews. You need to have a good relationship because you’re going to build, then you’ll be communicating a lot with the builders; and you’ll want that excellent customer service and clear communication.

We had an exceptional service and experience with Kanvi Homes Inc. If you are a new home buyer and are a new immigrant, Kanvi is the builder to go with. Andrea has been very patient during every step of the purchase and helped us with concerns that were even out of her domain. There were few instances where she went out of the way to help ensure that every hurdle and obstacle was tackled appropriately. Although we did not have a direct interaction with Mr. Virani, the President of Kanvi Homes Inc., we knew he was always behind the scenes helping Andrea with some of our concerns which she could not answer.
We started out on our home purchase journey by browsing key neighborhoods in Edmonton that we would like to settle into and call home. From the outset, we knew that we wanted to buy a new home direct from a builder and that we did not want to buy a house that was lived in. With this in mind we shortlisted key areas that we would like to live in and from there we ended up with few builders who design and reviews we liked. And we called each one of them and met at their show home. Andrea from Kanvi was perfect! Their style, design, and professionalism were simply exemplary. And throughout the whole process, they actually treated us like family.
At the show home, we were blown away by the space, modern design and practicality of the house. The most noticeable feature was their focus on maximizing space utilization. As a family with two small kids, we required a lot of space and storage nooks, the extra attention to these features was remarkable
Once we decided to own a Kanvi home, the process of acquiring financing was challenging as we were new immigrants. But while there were hiccups, Andrea was extremely helpful and informative. She was patient and ensured we got the right advice. I doubt we would have been able to own such a wonderful home without her support.
Kanvi after sales support has also been superb. Bryan, John, Lana and the rest of the team were without doubt professionals in their field. The passion and love of building a Kanvi home were evident during our walkthrough. They were diligent while explaining to us all the amazing add-ons that were built into the house which we were not aware of.
Once we started living, they have been always been a call away responding to all our concerns and doubts. Kanvi after sales support has also been wonderful.
Kanvi welcomed us lovingly with a big bow on the front door and flowers. Moving in will always be a cherished memory for us.

Bought a Kanvi's house a year now, there are good things about it and bad. People whoever worked on the site are perfectly great and nice. But the project coordinators make you so frustrating. Somehow you can't skip them. I don't understand they couldn't give you correct paper work and failed providing options for the customers. When you called them for service, they always want to charge you extra money even it's included in the warranty. They make you do more works than you should do, and avoiding your phone calls.
Kanvi's house are nice but few things won't hurt that you might want to know. Their drawers are not standered, so Ikea's drawer organizers will not fit in. Their doorbell are too far on the side, so it's really hard to install a video doorbell after. Their locks are not standerded, so it can't change to a smart lock, unless you buy a new regular lock first. And most important thing is the new house smells strong chemical! When I first got the house I couldn't stay inside with all the windows shut. It would make my eyes tearing. I suggest you to open all the windows at least couple months before you move in.

Building a home with Kanvi has been a terrific experience. We've been in our home for a year now, and we are thrilled with the quality of design and craftsmanship the Kanvi has provided. It always felt like everyone we worked with at Kanvi was dedicated to building our dream-home, and making sure we love our house.

From the moment we saw the Kanvi Fusion Showhome, we fell in love instantly with the modern look; especially with the cabinet overlay appliances, stainless glass rails and the extra large windows. The process from Sales to Designers, to Site Personnel, to Management have been truly outstanding.

As we have been living in our dream home for almost a year, the Kanvi Service team have been Excellent in dealing with deficiencies and urgent issues. I have heard several horror stories from friends and neighbors about their experiences with other builders and we are extremely Thankful that we have chosen and trusted Kanvi Homes to build our dream home.

We spend a lot of time in our kitchen as it is a focal point of our home. We had the idea of an Asian based, Chef's Island Kitchen complete with a built in Induction wok hob, Dim Sum steamer, Combi oven and a huge commercial hood. This was no easy for Kanvi as they had to get all the permits and inspections passed.

We love the idea that we were able to get so involved with the selection process and choose exact what we wanted and where we wanted. During the build period, Kanvi was extremely accommodating and understanding that we have a very busy work schedule. This allowed us to take our time to decide some critical issues and change orders that would have a huge impact to our home.

We also had the opportunity to deal with Kanvi's Management when we had an issue and found them to be very fair in dealing with the situation which led to a positive outcome.

The ONLY concern we had was the limitation of the developer's architectural requirements as we had some items on our wish list such solar panels, skylight and rear chain linked fence gate which we were not permited to proceed.

Overall, we had such an excellent experience in dealing with Kanvi Homes from start to finish that we would not hesitate to do this all over again if we had to.

My girlfriend and I just put down the down deposit for our dream home in the prestige Jagare Ridge Community in Edmonton. Because of my background in the Edmonton community, we have spent over 6 months to meet with every builder in Edmonton AND Kanvi was by far the best out of all builders in Edmonton.

Kanvi was accommodating and patients with us; we asked a lot of questions from foundation to framing to finishing; and took our time to make sure the plan was done in a way that we wanted.

Their President, Farhan, played a tremendous role in working with us, making sure our needs were addressed and provided valuable suggestions.
