JB Contracting

I recently had my 38 yr. old pressure treated deck demolished and a new one completed (same format) by JB Contracting and his crew Joey and Alberto. The final product I couldn't be happier with. Truly appreciated watching Jim & Alberto brainstorm their combined ideas and coming up with a far superior way to reroute my downspouts using a combination of my current aluminum ones and adding 4" white PVC piping in a new configuration. Jim's son Joey showed great pride working with his Dad and Alberto. The work was done to their usual excellent workmanship and all while having to deal with rain showers and temperatures of 40 C. All three have a great work ethic and all with a sense of humor and need to please their customer foremost. I am deeply thankful to them. I would highly recommend them if you're looking for a high quality project, by a great crew. (taxes additional)

I would highly recommend JB Contracting. Jim and his son did an amazing job on our front porch replacement. Our front porch was sinking and starting to separate from our home. From the moment Jim provided us with a quote, he walked us through every step of what he was doing during the job and the completed porch looks fabulous. There is no need to look further for a contractor.

Contacted JB Contracting to have my 100+ year old front porch rails and flooring demolished and replaced. From start to finish Jim & Joey (his son) worked well together and it showed in their true craftsmanship. Jim's expertise showed in everything he built. Jim was excellent at communicating throughout the project. As a homeowner I feel immensely proud of the work done by these two. Once completed to Jim's exacting standards, I was able to have the new rails painted by Jim's recommended painter Roman. Roman came with the same impeccable standards I experienced with Jim and his son. The job is complete now, and I could not be happier. Would highly recommend JB Contracting & Painter Roman to family and friends. It was a true pleasure dealing with all three men.

Jim and his son Joe removed the leaking roof over our deck and replaced it with a shingle roof with the proper pitch. They also finished the underneath portion with vgroove pine.They kept us informed of what they were doing the whole time and what time they were going to arrive at the house. Excellent attention to detail by both of them. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Also they installed potlights.

Jim was great and Id recommend his work. Easy to communicate with, showed up on time, did a great job, cleaned up - only good things to say. He also has a great eye for detail and design.

Great work and craftsmanship. Scheduled for 4 days and finished in 3. Left the area cleaned and worked during the day hours causing minimal impact. Very friendly and always keeping us updated on the progress of the project.

We were looking to renovate our two bathrooms on the second floor and after getting a few quotes we chose Jim and his crew. His quote was not the lowest but was competitive and honest, and we were glad we selected his company to do the work. My wife and I have never seen such dedication and attention to detail and commitment to quality as we saw with Jim and Joey's work. They finished the job today and we are thrilled with the results which exceeded all our expectations. We are planning our next renovation project for the kitchen and Jim and Joey will be our top choice.

Jim's critical thinking, and guidance, often leads to me taking a look at what I wanted. HIS INPUT, and suggestions, have defined for our family, that his expertise, is bar none. Even my father, described Jim, as having "golden hands" and we ALL agree. JB Contracting has worked in 2 earlier homes, one of our businesses, and in cottage country. Visitors right away would ask "who did this?. I'd put my hand up a say "I know, JB Contracting from Toronto....doing "busy" in a great way!

Jim renovated our bathroom and was a pleasure to work with. He communicated well throughout the entire process and provided helpful suggestions while we were planning it. Though his services arent cheap, his workmanship is impeccable. We loved the result and look forward to future projects with him.
