Bathtub deglaze

Bad experience. Responsive when trying to get the job and then silence when I noticed that the glaze dripped all over the drain effectively ruining it. Would not answer 1 text or make it right.

Bathtub and tile reglazing

Not there yet. Still too new in the industry and still charging a premium price. Impressive website, but questionable positive reviews from "customers". Our experience was bad. The first attempt at reglazing our tub and tile surround was very poorly done. There were several drips and globs of paint that had dried, they had missed spots. On top of this they tried to force me to pay full price on the spot before I even had a chance to inspect the work. They blocked the doorway to my office and I felt threatened. After inspecting, they agreed to come back in two weeks to re-do the job. They arrived late, and stayed 4 hours longer than they told us leaving at 6:30pm. The final job is ok, not a premium result as reflected in the price charged. They may get better over time, but beware of a flashy website and hopefully by the time you read this there are more positive reviews for them, or they might be out of business all together.

Tub Refinishing

Based on the professional look of their website and their 5 year warranty offer, we hired Bathtub Miracle to refinish our tub in the fall of 2013. "Mike" arrived on time and sprayed a high gloss white finish on the tub which made it look much better, but not perfect as there were a lot of dust particles in the finish which made it bumpy to the touch or to close inspection. But for the affordable price of $220 we were satisfied. Within 2 months, there was a 2" bubble under the coating which then started to peel. The peeling grew to what is now a 8" diameter hole in the finish which continues to flake off. "Mike" left behind a 5 year written warranty but despite our calling and emailing every day for the past 4 weeks, no one from Bathtub Miracle has responded. We considered small claims court but in the end it's probably easier just to pay a reputable refinishing company to come in and do it properly. I guess we didn't research enough and were fooled by a glossy website and a fake warranty.
