There was some issue once the drywall work started, drywall was slow and the drywaller no showed a few times that snowballed messing up other trades. To make up time at the end Suite builder sub-ed the bathroom tile to a tile installer was a hack. The tile installer didn’t premeasure the tile spacing and tried to leave ½” of grout at the ceiling. Suite Build or the tile sub had to go back 3 weeks later and fix the mistake after waiting for tile to ship in. The tile installer messed up the corners one side the installer used the cut 4 x 14 in two pieces 4 x 3 with a 4 x 11 using the entire 4 x 14 like you should. The other corner the tile installer used a 4 x 3, small tile sliver and the a full 4 x 14. Basically the tile installer used 4 x 14 in the one corner and a 4 x 17 in the other, it looks sloppy for the price the bathroom reno. The corner was not a fixable error.

As soon as the drywall and mud started it went downhill fast. The drywall crew was a disaster took forever. Finishing work was well done with a few exceptions but slow. Didn’t order material in advance, Jeff was supposed to start tile but couldn’t because the tile was two week lead time. Maybe you should order the tile in advance or at least check with the supplier to see if the tiles are a stock item or special order. Once the tile arrived he couldn’t start tiling because in the two week wait for the tile he didn’t prep the walls. One day he showed up to patch a 6” x 6” hole. In an entire day he patched one hole that could have been completed one to two weeks earlier when he patched other walls. He installed pot lights but didn’t take in account the upper cabinets, now there is a pot light above a cabinet with trim around it and the light zero use. It the bathroom he didn’t space his tile out properly and left 3/4” grout line at the ceiling, I told him that was unaccepted work and then had to wait two additional week for more tile to shipped in.
Slow, if you are very patient and want babysit your GC use suite builder.
