Creative Floor Surfaces

My wife returned to Canada when her mother passed away at Christmas. Our home is under a rental situation. We are snowbirds. Our renters showed us trim unfinished and sloppy workmanship at this time. We were expecting to see a top rate job but were very disappointed. We have been trying to get them to return to our home to review the situation and to finish the job properly. Our renters told us today that they waited all day yesterday and still a no-show. Sorry, but we have phones and internet access these days and as a landlord with a rental situation, we are not pleased. Michael Mullett and his crew did a fantastic job on renovations to our 1973 home. When you are working with an older home, and you are not first time owners, there are challenges that come up. Michael would let us know any issues and always had a solution without breaking the bank. He has a wonderful personality and is punctual, clean, skillful and thinks outside of the box. He always communicated to us via, phone, voice mail, email or in person. You knew what to expect and what to expect from him. We are extremely satisfied with this company. They performed beyond our expectations and there were no headaches. They always left the working site clean and even offered to work extra or different hours to accommodate our needs and time schedule.He even volunteered extra runs to the dump with garbage that he wasn't responsible for. In today's world of unpredictable and sloppy contractors, Michael stands out as a top-notch contractor and we are happy to recommend him to family and friends. In fact, we already have, so he better be prepared to be busy !! He deserves all the success that will come his way !! Thank you !!!

I just wanted to make sure I formally thanked you for our fantastic hardwood stairs and Laminate floors. The whole process was great, we were fearful given our workloads that we could never manage it and you made that part easy and I cannot tell you how much we appreciate that. Your guys are great and it was totally comfortable having them in our house, so thank them as well. I recommend Michael and team to all my friends and family.

I hired Creative Floor Surfaces to install hardwood, new stair treads and risers, refinish railings, post, and spindles. This was originally to be a 5 day job but took 20 days and was still not complete. The job had to be put on hold due to our vacation but after our vacation we were unable to get Creative Floor Surfaces back to our house to complete the job. Now I have to find a new contractor in September to complete a job started in June. In the meantime I have exposed subflooring, twisted railings, missing stairs treads. Honestly an absolute nightmare!

We purchased woven strand bamboo flooring from the Lumber Liquidators outlet in Stoney Creek, Ontario and had Creative Floor Surfaces do the installation.

Michael, Matt and Troy were fantastic. They were on time, polite and professional. The quality of their work was outstanding and their attention to detail was excellent. We love our new hardwood floor, and I would happily recommend their services to anyone.
