Alan was recommended to me by a friend after I had mentioned my deck wobbled every time my dogs ran across it. I called Alan, and he came promptly to assess the deck. He recommended a repair rather than a full replacement (which was a relief to me). He was very efficient with the repair and the project was completed within the time-frame he had proposed. He also left my deck area cleaner than it was to start! With so many unreliable contractors out there, I was impressed with Alan’s professionalism and honesty and will definitely be calling Nepean General Contractors again.

I was very thrilled with the work organized by Nepean general contractors. Alan was able to organize upgrading my front steps and I was very happy with the results. I finally had my interlocking front steps and walkway.

My coworker recommended Alan Shade to us and we are very satisfied with the work that he did for us about 4 months ago. The hall floors at the front and back entrances to our house needed reinforcement (one was a dropped floor that was not well-supported and the other floor was sloped). We got several different quotes for this job but Alan presented an effective solution for a reasonable price. He is knowledgeable, professional and stayed true to his estimate in terms of both time and cost. The soil around the foundation has degraded overtime resulting in big puddles of water, several inches deep in some areas, every time it rains. Called Nepean General Contractors to look at the problem and provide a cost effective solution. Alan Shade dropped by, assessed the situation, gave clear options and provided pricing in a matter of 48 hours. Alan's suggested to slope the ground gently away from the foundation, using top soil and riverwash stone, effectively creating a swale. The swale allows water to be channeled away from the house. Allan and his crew were very professional. One full day of hard work starting at 8 AM sharp and everything was completed. The crew even moved an existing garden shed and put it back in place after the work was done. Alan inspected the work at the end of the day and decided to bring his crew again the following day for few hours to further increase the grading in few areas with top soil. I was fully satisfied with work done and will certainly call on Alan and his crew in the future.

I hired Nepean General Contractors to replace my deck and add support for the back porch.
From the beginning Alan was professional,competent,thorough and polite. He made suggestions and gave me choices for materials and design.
