Little Landscapes

I live on the side of a hill in Leslieville and my backyard was slowly eroding away as was my retaining wall. It was a huge job! Trevor and his team removed the old crumbling wall and rebuilt a beautiful stone wall in its place. Trevor and his team are standup guys and we couldn't be happier with the finished project. They showed up when they were supposed to and met our budget and timeline. Highly recommend.

We have a typical, cozy (36 x 17) backyard in Leslieville that was basically a parking pad and two 1x10 garden beds. Fences on two sides were falling down (being held up with rope). We asked Trevor for some design advice and to help us create a nice mix of useable space for eating/playing and garden area, in addition to new fences.

Trevor worked with us to create a simple, pleasing design that makes great use of the space. He had great suggestions for different bricks at different price points, where to place the garden, and fence design (The picture below shows the amazing stone work they completed).

Trevor was really helpful at working with us to stay in budget and was an overall great communicator. Not to mention, he and his crew (two happy, hard-working guys) were wonderful to work with and lovely to have around for seven days.

I saw Little Landscape work in my neighbourhood and was very impressed. We got a quote and, though it took a while to fit our small project in, the job was stellar and totally on budget. One of the best experiences I have had with a contractor. The results were beautiful and the work was done on time and on budget. The results exceeded my expectations!

The rotting timbers holding up the garden wall were decaying underfoot. There was 8 inches of concrete to be blasted out from the entrance level. And, it was November, with some of the worst weather going. And, yet, Trevor and his guys installed a magnificent stone design, with gorgeous retaining walls and a serenely laid out stone patio. He completed this and he did it professionally and meticulously - we could not be happier and the finished product could not look better. He was a champ. a timely way, notwithstanding the weather

Firstly, Trevor and his team were both incredibly friendly and professional. They work only on one project at a time, so even though my entire front lawn was transformed into an intricate walkway and raised beds with no inch left untouched, the project took a matter of days, not weeks.

Someone else mentioned that he and his team will debrief at the end of the day to keep the client in the loop at all times. This is true. Not only that, but Trevor brings strong creative problem solving skills to the table as well, and on more than one occasion made suggestions that were the perfect solution. this is something one would expect in a contractor, but we've rarely seen during other projects with different companies.

We could not be more pleased with the end result of our project, and have already recommended Little Landscapes to our friends and neighbours, who have all been by to appreciate Trevor & Co's work.

I reached out to Trevor last fall for help with a interlock parking pad that had heaved and was accumulating water each time it rained. Trevor provided a quote that was both comprehensive and competetive. While we encountered a few hiccups when the project started (turns out there was zero based under the stone), Trevor was quick to problem solve and kept me in the loop each step of the way. At the end of the day, we were thrilled with the job that was completed and will be sure to engage Trevor and crew for some other jobs we've got lined up. Highly recommended!

We engaged LittleLandscapes on the recommendation of our regular handyman (who had been a large scale contractor before retirement). We asked three companies to submit quotes on our project. The quote for LittleLandscapes was broken into the various jobs that made up our project and Trevor was able to answer questions about materials and cost. Another company provided a one lump sum quote without details and we didn’t hear from the third at all. We are extremely pleased with the work LittleLandscapes did for us (and our neighbours are too).

Trevor is a true craftsman and the backyard parking pad and side walkway he created are more beautiful than we imagined. Little Landscapes are not afraid to work in smaller properties and difficult to access sites. Trevor is very professional and easy to work with.
