Excel Heating And Air Conditioning

We had Blake and Matt replace our 31 year old Carrier air conditioner with a new one. They were very professional and their installation was far superior to the original job. Blake was more than willing to explain anything you wanted to know as well as to take the time to walk around with you at the completion of the job to review all the work. They took a great deal of pride in their workmanship and it showed. I would highly recommend this company.

I was very impressed with all aspects of this company's workmanship. Blake Livingstone's product knowledge is excellent. The walk through, furnace recommendations and detailed quotes were more than I expected.
Installation went very smoothly. I have to say that I am very particular and the finished product, integration with my existing AC unit and fine level of detail was certainly impressive. Blake and Matt spent 8 hours here each and the worksite was perfectly clean and handoff completed before they left.

We had central air conditioning and a humidifier installed by Excel in 2009. He educated us on the process and explained the importance of sizing the unit correctly to provide sufficient cooling and de-humidification. The installation was professional, timely and tidy. The Carrier condensing unit he recommended was quiet and has not required any servicing in the last 8 years it's been running.

Called excel and spoke with Blake he made recommendations based on my needs and provided a quote.
Matt showed up on time and rewired as necessary with completion within 2 hours. Matt explained the function and settings.
I was particularly impressed with the neatness of the installation, all the wires were routed and tied up.

Our furnace stopped working on a Sunday. Luckily with space heaters and a reasonable outside temperature we were able to wait until Monday morning to call a repair service. I found Home Stars online and after reading the great reviews for Excel Heating and Air Conditioning, we decided to reach out to them. Blake answered my call, and was able to make an appointment for that same day with us. He accommodated our scheduling needs so we could still get to work part of the morning and then have him arrive later in the afternoon. This was a great help right from the start. Once Blake arrived, he was right on time, he was prompt in troubleshooting the issue. He was very informative on why we had the issue we did, and he was able to repair the furnace to get it running great again, with a smaller financial impact then what we were expecting. I found Blake to be very professional, knowledgeable and polite, and we will absolutely use Excel Heating for our service needs in the future. Thank you Blake!

Furnace:
After doing some research on the internet about the company, we had Blake came to fix our furnace just a few days before Christmas 2016. All the reviews about Blake were true. He is very knowledgeable and straight forward which is one of the strong attribute that made us choose him. Blake was a bit late to the appointment but did called in advance to notify my wife and she appreciated that as we were spending the whole night without the furnace working. He also took time to answer all our questions during and after the work was done. Knowing that he probably did the same for the previous customer, we could understand and do not mind of the wait. I definitely recommend Blake to all my friends and to any one who needs to get their furnace fixed.

20+ year old furnace died over Christmas. Contacted Carrier customer service, and they recommended Excel Heating & Air Conditioning. Blake was able to come later the same day I called to assess the problem. Provided estimate, and took the time to answer all my questions in spite of it already being early evening. Furnace was replaced 2 days later, work was done efficiently and well. Even more pleasantly surprising was when had the install inspected by the city, the inspector spontaneously mentioned that it looked like the installers really knew what they were doing, and asked which company did the work!

Excel/Blake was very Knowledgeable & friendly. Extremely professional and efficient from the first call to book a service to the follow up call the next day to see how everything was running. My furnace died 4 days before Christmas and Blake and Matt had a new furnace installed and running within 2 days. The installation was seamless and they cleaned away all the old pieces. Blake had done maintenance on the old furnace for the past couple of years so I was familiar with his work ethics which are outstanding. Thank you guys very much.
