I will just give my experience .
I was given a quote which clearly shows 5000 pounds 3 bedrooms and a baby grand piano and a destination charge . When I was on the phone with MMA I made it clear that the quote should include the piano so that they were matched fairly against other movers . I accepted their quote and gave deposit . Later on they sent a letter of acceptance that shows extra charges like weight and other things . On this letter was also a general piano statement that I didn't even think about because of my conversations and the quote that already included the piano as an item on the top right corner of the quote .
Moving day was coming and they called and asked if they could move it up one day for their convenience and I said that they could . We adjusted our plans .
On Friday they showed up several hours late and started to load the truck . The movers were well mannered and hard working .
The next day when they showed up they would not unload until I paid the bill which looked ok on the weight charge but a $300 dollar charge was added for the piano . I obviously had no choice but to pay at the time.
long story short I was told to send a claim form and within ten day I would be given their decision .
On the form I asked for the reimbursement for the piano and for a large outdoor planter that was smashed . A month later I called them as they had not responded .
The answers were that they would use the letter of acceptance clause about piano charges to their benefit and that the 50 lbs planter was not heavy enough to be worth the 60cents a pound insurance so the destroyed planter was not compensated for .
So this is my experience . Take my experience as you will .

In our first telephone conversation, it was told to us by you that you had a baby grand piano. After our phone conversation, we sent you an email indicating that there was an additional charge for the piano with the rest of the moving plan details. The additional charge for the piano was again mentioned when we called you before the initial move to confirm everything once again, and you told us that you viewed this additional charge in the email as well and that you were aware of this charge. As it was mentioned in your review, our team was hardworking during your move. Even though you knew about the additional charge for the piano as it was mentioned during phone conversations as well as in the emails, it surprised us that you claim the additional charge for the piano was new information for you.
In reference to your vase, it is unfortunate it was damaged - we do offer in-home packing with full insurance coverage - was denied by you - We cannot guarantee any items that's not packed by our movers. From your review, we understand that everything else went smooth and well with your move as you had mostly solid furniture and little number of boxes.
