I count not recommend Direct Waterproofing (specifically Terry) more highly! He is so knowledgeable, trust worthy and a hard worker. the work done on our basement was well done and done in a respectable timeline. The site was always clean and Terry gave me daily updates.

I contacted Direct Waterproofing to inquire about backwater valve installation and city rebate. Starting from my initial call with the master plumber Terry to the final installation, the entire experience was first-class. I did my due diligence and contacted a few highly reputable companies, but Terry’s exceptional professionalism, knowledge of the trade, and unmatched customer service over two phone calls are why I decided to work with this company and I am so glad I did. They used high quality equipment, worked clean and finished the job with impeccable craftsmanship. The job started with an initial camera inspection to find the main sewer line - Terry provided helpful information about the quality of our line during this process. He then submitted all paperwork for the city permit and kept me informed ever step of the way. Once the permit was issued, they scheduled the job within a few days and finished the installation within 3 hours. We then waited for the city inspection to be completed and the site was neatly backfilled and covered - all carefully coordinated and completed by Terry and team. Before leaving Terry handed us the paperwork to submit to city for rebate. Everything was so seamless and wonderful, I would not blink once before calling them again or recommending them to someone. Thank you for a job well done, but also for making us feel so well taken care of.

We had a basement leak. Terry and his team helped us dry the basement, installed interior waterproof and sump pump. He explained the job clearly, completed the job quickly. The team was very professional. Always on time every step of the process, kept the basement clean.

Job well done by team Terry. Terry found the problem of water seeping and his team dig up 7 ft in the ground , repaired the crack, installed new window well and other stuff required to prevent the leak. He also promised me to fix concrete work.

We had some pooling of water in the corner of our house. We looked and investigated for a couple months on our own and the only thing we found out was when there was a lot of water, a small pool would always form on one wall/corner.

We decided to call a water proofing company and had a great chat and meeting with Terry. He immediately determined it to be a bad addition to our home where the water was seeping through the cinder blocks used by the previous owner/builder. He outlined a plan and squeezed us in. Assuring us that our issue was fairly tame in comparison to what he sees in the city.

On the day he was able to rip out a bit of dry wall and add a membrane and attached the run off to the drain with a weeping tile. So far we have not seen any leak over the rain or heavy snow melting. Everything has been great.

Diagnostics of the issue was done quickly and precisely. The team did a great job of digging 6ft in a narrow space (since mine is townhouse) to repair the crack to the foundation that is causing the leaking in my basement. Fast, efficient and good quality work. Terry was very friendly and even added additional cement coverage from the interior.

I'm happy Terry and his crew waterproofed my basement (interior weeping tile around perimeter). The basement is old and awkward (low ceiling, uneven floors, stone walls, some benching), but they didn't make it complicated for me. Pricing and availability was competitive, and expectations were met for start date and completion. ..A straight forward process from the beginning. We need more people like Terry because he is friendly and makes things straight forward.

Terry is a pleasure to work with. Not only is his knowledge RE: waterproofing second to none, he is a pleasure to deal with as a person, always very responsive, and has very strong attention to detail. When there was a leak in my basement, I called Terry and he was there that same day during a big rain storm and had the leak fixed ASAP. I cannot recommend Terry enough. The best!
