Architectural Drawings and Building Permit Submission
Ben has been a joy to work with, a consummate professional and extremely helpful during our application for a building permit; he was very accommodating and patient in regards to our inexperience with renovations.
While working with Ben to make adjustments to the drawings there was a specific change we decided towards the end that would require the Committee of Adjustments to approve of which would incur additional costs both for his services and to the city; Ben could've easily given the notice of the additional cost requirement, accepted the additional work for minimal extra effort. Instead he chose to also give his own recommendation AGAINST making that last impulsive change as it seemed unnecessary given the cost vs benefits to making that change for our overall project, it was a clear show of his moral ethics and we greatly appreciated it.

Thanks, Well, as I always said, it is your home so you have the power to make any informed decision. The added space (about two feet) for the rear bedroom addition made sense it was just the extra time and cost that I had to make you aware of them. You did an informed decision and it all went very well. We got the permit with no question asked from the City which shorten the permit application time. Glad that all went well.
