Kevin Macdonald replaced the defective unit (under warranty) which was blinking on and off. Kevin also provided advice on various settings on our two units to optimize usage and comfort. He also provided service on June 13, 2016. He is a very congenial, helpful and well-informed person who is always willing to offer any follow-up assistance to ensure customer satisfaction. It was a pleasure to have him as your service representative.

The gentleman that came to our house to do a consultation regarding a new air conditioner system was very pleasant and helpful. When we mentioned we didn't know if our air conditioner was worth fixing or if we should just get a new system; he offered to get a technician to come and check it. He set this up for us the following morning. The technician was very personable, knowledgable and efficient. He was able to fix our conditioner quickly at a very reasonable price. Would most definitely go through this company again and highly recommend them to friends and family.

We decided to go with Home Depot and their installers, Friesen's Climate Control Ltd. Absolutely first rate. The whole process was handled in an efficient, knowledgeable, friendly, and tidy manner. Any questions that we had were answered clearly. We are now going to use this outfit as our one stop for any required yearly inspection/ maintenance for our furnace, HVAC, etc. The fellows, including the general manager, were polite, courteous, and professional. I'm at a loss as to how other reviewers would rank this company any less than 10 out of 10.

We bought a hot water tank at Home Depot, and Friesen was the contractor to install it. We upgraded from 40 to 50 gallons. When the installer arrived, he took a look at the tank site and stated that only a same sized 40 gallon tank would fit. He also stated that the venting had to be upgraded from 3" to 4", requiring a permit, for an additional cost of $250. And he charged us $70 for a "wasted trip" that took him less than 10 minutes.

We decided to go with another company, and they had no problems installing a 50 gallon tank in the same location as the old 40. The vent upgrade also did not require a permit, and the labour was $150. Altogether the job was $150 less than with Friesen/HD.

I suspect that the HD contractors will only do the simplest jobs because that way they can do several jobs in a day. HD said that it would take them an hour to do the job. The company we went with took three hours without any problem or complaint. So, much better value and service from the competition!

Good quality water heater. Installation service was fast and clean. I placed the order on Thursday night. Two guys arrived next day around noon. Job finished within one hour. Professional job. Cloth on floor and carpet, no mess left. They are friendly and willing to tell some water heater using tips.

We called Freisens to have a new hot water heater installed on a Wednesday. The very next morning they were Here to install it. Very professional, clean and quick! So happy to have hot water again. I have already recommended them to people at work and will continue too! Thank you Freisens - you rock!

I got a new furnace and AC installed what a great job they did. Installers were on time. So glad I replaced my furnace and got AC happy with both of the units Thanks again
