Like the other person posted, he took my money, left a mess, did not complete the job, and absconded.

I would question his "skills" - ripped out the subfloor instead of screwing it out, damaged the bathroom door, offered to do electrical work (he is not licensed), never cleaned the house when he left. He would show up at 11.30 and leave at 14.00 on the days he came. If you hire this guy, you are setting yourself up for a lot of problems, as his work has no integrity.

Bathroom renovation

Owner JB took $5000 cash deposit for our bathroom renovations to only come once to demolish our bathroom and never saw him again. It’s been s month and every day I would call him and ask him is he coming he would say tomorrow, after one month he said he can’t finish our bathroom and will give us our deposit money back and I again every day would be tomorrow and when he saw we were fed up with situation he said his wife paid mortgage with our money that was supposed to be for materials tiles, vanity, toilet etc. We don’t have choice but to take him to court but everyone please be aware of “ Dream Home Renovations “ nobody deserves to get ripped of $5000 . He is not licensed or registered I wish we checked him before we hired him. He promised he will give us our money back a fix damages in my sons room as well as ceiling in kitchen that happened while they were gutting our bathroom but it never happened.

Company Response: This customer is a liar.
If we never came back how did we manage to deliver all the materials and run all new plumbing. Customer is incapable of telling the truth. She Wanted a discount bathroom then was requesting marble tiles, $2000 vanities and high end materials.
After all the materials were bought, plumbing done the customer locked us out of the house and stole $4000 worth of tools as well as kept all the materials.
Beware this incredibly dishonest and sneaky person.
they now owe us an additional $4000 for all the tools they stole.
we look forward to court as all this customers lies will be exposed.
Luckily for us we recorded the conversation as well as this nasty person threatening my children.
