Stefan installed the hydronic heating and air conditioning and plumbing in my home at a reasonable cost. However, all the airconditioning units failed within a couple years (probably not his fault). However, Stefan was extremely unresponsive and slow to service the units under warranty, often having to call dozens of times for him to show up as each unit broke down, leaked, etc. We went without airconditioning for an entire summer while Stefan blamed the manufacturer. When I called the manufacturer, the parts were sourced within a day. The boiler also leaked and failed. Stefan once again delayed service for months until I completely gave up and hired another company to service it.

I would not recommend S&J Mechanical.

Did a good job and even added a shut-off valve to the expansion tank so that next time the whole system doesn't need to be drained. Did the work efficiently and cleaned up afterwards. There was just a lot of yelling while the work was happening which was disconcerting, but I suppose some people just work that way. Also, I feel the absolute minimum was done to fix the problem, so everything worked but it didn't look good. It's all in the mechanical room so not a huge problem, but worth noting. Stefan's knowledge and experience were undeniable.
