Empower did a good job from initial meeting through installation. Stan, the salesman, went out of his way to solve a tricky install and is a real assert to the company. Installers were professional and knew their building code inside and out. Have recommended them to both close family and friends.

I am super impressed with the personal care of the salesman, Stan Maceachen. He went out of his way to come on a weekend to help move a washer and dryer and then on another time, after a long day, being on the far opposite side of GTA, drove to my house to provide me with heaters so the place wouldn't get cold before the job was done. I am also thankful for the dedication of G. Singh who worked 3 days on the air heat pump & furnace, (14 hours one of those days) trying to get the furnace to work, which had to be customized to fit around a pillar.

I had a great experience with Empower. My goal was to get a heat pump on the rebate programs and so I evaluated 5 companies. Stan was my consultant from Empower. He was informative in his sales pitch, but adjusted to the level of my research into heat pump.

It took several weeks for me to complete my comparison among the HVAC companies but I found Empower's pricing to be reasonable and transparent. Along the way Stan presented me with different options to fit the system within my budget, and I was happy that he had both a ton of experience in the industry but also the ability to adjust to my needs.

The installation team led by Farzad was top-notch. He called me to ask to start the installation a day earlier as it would allow for the new furnace to be installed and provide heat the first night and the full system to be completed the next day. In hindsight a 2 day installation for a mixed-fuel system is a good idea.

Farzad was very professional, and he did the installation in a very customer friendly way, adjusting to my preferences.

Overall I was very impressed with Empower and would recommend

Some Technicians make mistakes - but they admit and rectify issues quickly

After replacing the heat exchanger on my Rinnai tankless, I noticed that the cover was secured with 4 different bolts - none were the correct thread of M4! After brining this to their attention, Empower immediately rectified the problem. In fact they went out of their way to apologize and the original technician stopped by to explain what had happened and that he had, at the time, made notes to return with the correct fasteners - he had simply forgot to do so. I feel that this says a lot about a company when they rectify mistakes so quickly - even when the mistake occurred months earlier.

I recently had an excellent experience with Empower Home Comfort, where they replaced my old water tank with a new, energy-efficient tankless water heater and upgraded my outdated air conditioner to a modern heat pump. The entire process was overseen by their consultant, Stan, whose extensive experience in the HVAC field was evident in how he helped us navigate through the best options and made sure we were comfortable with our choices. He was very attentive, keeping us updated at every step of the process.

The team at Empower Home Comfort was exceptionally professional and hardworking. They went above and beyond, staying overtime to complete extra, necessary work, ensuring everything was done to the highest standard. Had a Heat Pump installed recently. Worked with Stan to get the quote and details about the installation. Stan was helpful and answered several questions I had about the equipment and process. Installation techs were very knowledgeable and did an efficient job putting in the new heat pump and making sure it worked correctly. Price was competitive with all the other company's I checked with. I also use Empower for annual maintenance and have been happy with every service call I've had.

Very honest and professional team.
Their salesman, Stan has vast experience in HVAC field.
Very honest man. Thorough gentleman.
Installation team lead by Farzad is punctual and professional and they dont cut corners.
Although, we had a little setback as the main board had blown on furnace after the installation, they took care of it as fast as possible.
I have a good feeling their after sales service will also be second to none.
Although it was not the cheapest quote, I am glad I got this project done by them.

As many have already said, these guys are good. They installed a new AC and air handling unit with my complete satisfaction. Their sales rep (Stan) is very good as he came to our house and went over every thing very carefully and offered options. No pressure just excellent advice. There is a reason they are one of Homestars best companies.
