Sheldon was a pleasure to work with. He had great ideas and made us feel like our project was of the upmost importance. They showed up everyday including weekends, on time, and stayed late until that days job was done. They were very respectful of the space and left it tidy each evening. Everything was well planned and executed. The project was completed on budget and ahead of schedule. We would highly recommend Sha-Monique for any home improvements. Our friends were envious of the great job and speed at which it was completed. We love our new kitchen!!!

Sheldon is reliable, efficient and easy to communicate with. He was happy to help make our vision come to life and gave us a lot of creative control while providing his expertise and design opinion (which we were grateful to have!) He recognized a foundational problem with our bathroom from previous owners and fixed it right away, we appreciate that he explained everything and kept us up to date.

Overall I'm very happy with the service and end result we got from Sheldon and his team. I will 100% be working with them again, in fact I plan to as we already have some next work lined up in our basement. 10/10 recommend Sha Monique Construction.

Sheldon and his team were meticulous in finishing our project in our semi-detached townhouse walk-out basement and laundry room. They completed on time and did a thorough job of installing drywall and painting, flooring, wall to wall shelving, cabinets, pot lights, laundry room vanity, a double door to the garden and a minibar even. My husband loves the minibar and we were very happy with the attention to detail the team has. Sheldon had great creative ideas and likes to suggest improvements/adjustments to the plan which is a bonus! I strongly recommend Sha Monique Construction for your renovation project.

We hired Sheldon and his team (again!) to redo a bathroom and we are in love with the finished product. We needed to make the bathroom accessible, remove the old bath and turn it from an unhappy pink and brown that didnt meet our needs > sparkling, functional comfortable and modern. We trusted him with the design and he came with amazing ideas we didnt even think of and we absolutely love it!

Just recently purchased a home and the old flooring was all over the place. Different hardwood and ugly tile throughout the house. Sha Monique helped us pick out a great colour that we love and it looks amazing. We also got rid of the carpet on the stairs/hallway and replaced it with hardwood as well. The service was very efficient, the work was finished within a week and a half. Any minor concerns that I had I spoke to Sheldon and he handled it right away. I'm very pleased with the final results and already recommended them to a couple friends. Now I actually feel like this is home.

The service received from Sha Monique construction was excellent. The quality was very good. I would definitely recommend them for any bathroom project and will hire them again for future projects.

Sheldon and his team are amazing. We gave them a laundry list of things we needed/wanted to get done and Sheldon worked very hard to make sure we were able to complete all of the major needs and most of the minor wants...all with a reasonable budget. He was also able to take our ideas and improve them with great suggestions and cost saving ideas and brought our dream home to life. A full kitchen, ensuite, hardwood floors throughout, custom stairs, built-in custom cabinetry and crown moldings...all look amazing! On top of that, Sheldon rebuilt our deck with PVC to match our new pool being installed by another contractor and now both inside and outside are a show home...we HIGHLY recommend SMC and have already referred them to our friends and family. I've worked with Sha Monique Construction on multiple projects and they never disappoint. I had my popcorn ceilings removed and my entire condo painted. I am thrilled with how my space turned out and highly recommend their services.

Moved into my townhouse about 5 years ago, and to my dismay the finishing by the revolving door of trades hired by the builder at the end of the project were pretty abyssal. The paint and caulk on my staircases were cracked within the first few months, and the builder's sad attempt at repair was to slap on even MORE caulk and paint on top of the poor initial job. The "before" pictures don't show the worst parts...it was pathetic!! After the work completed (i.e. this entailed scraping off the offending paint and caulk, priming, re-caulking and re-painting) these are the stairs I should have enjoyed from the get-go. It's a major improvement, and wish I had done this sooner. I'm pleased and no longer embarrassed by the condition of my staircases. Thanks SO much Sheldon @Sha Monique!

Sheldon and his team surpassed our expectations. This was the first renovation we have ever done and Sheldon was an excellent resource for us. Being that this was an old house it was very complicated and thankfully Sheldon knew how to handle the challenges and still get our Reno done. He was respectful of our budget and we appreciated his responsiveness at all hours. The outcome of our home is beautiful and we look forward to working with him on projects to come.
