They were always available to answer questions and offer suggestions. Details was the only firm that was able to put our familys real needs and wants into perspective. We hired detailed construction & development for a major addition and remodel of our existing home in the Toronto Beaches neighborhood. We had screened several contractors for the work over a long period of time, and after receiving many quotes and meeting the contractors we felt comfortable giving the work to Details Construction. Robert was our point of contact through out the entire process, and walked us through design options and areas of cost savings. We had a wonderful experience, both professionally and personally. Re-building your home is known to be a incredibly stressful endeavor, fortunately for my wife and I it was not due the transparency, honesty, and professionalism Detail's provided throughout the entire process. They finished the project well before the contract deadline, and had little to no deficiencies therefore my wife and I were able to move back into our home in timely manner and not worry about having to let contractors come and fix their faulty work. Detail's has worked with many of their sub-contractors for years and has screened them all well, this gives them the ability to provide a finished product on time, great quality, and an economical price.
My wife and I are truly impressed with the finished product, this is a benefit of working with great people who know what there doing and have been doing it for a long time.

We were referred to Details Construction and Development by a neighbour who is extremely diligent in research before engaging in a contact with any company. Everything just clicked from day one, Robert was clearly highly knowable and held himself accountable throughout the entire process. He was a patient with helping us figure out a layout that would suit our needs best. The Robert and the team sure did surpass our expectations from design to permits, planning, and executing the work. We were able to complete a 2nd story addition with a full main floor remodel / gut using quality finishes in less than six months and under 400k. Their tradesmen are professional, knowledgeable and their team is creative and throughout. We love our new home and owe many thanks to the Details Construction team. We would certainly recommend them for permits and construction. Previously have found it hard to find genuine people in industry. Robert’s pure energy and caliber of professionalism is second to none.

Highly recommend Details Construction

Details Construction & Development completely renovated our semi-detached house built in 1914. It required all new framing, HVAC, windows, plumbing, electrical, 3 bathrooms, roofing, exterior cladding. Robert was exceptional and directly managed the project with Dave and Vivenci onsite frequently. There was always consistent progress and tasks moved along well. They did finish the renovation on time despite the rainy weather and within our budget. They anticipated things that needed to be done such as our sanitary drain and were able to fit in some beautiful upgrades such as built-in gas fireplace and solid quartz kitchen backsplash. Quality of work is exceptional trades and crew are highly meticulous. Either Robert or Dave was on site every day and easily reachable via email or Phone. Most people such as ourselves only do such a major renovation once in a lifetime and do not have the knowledge or experience to find and correct mistakes. If we had it to do over we would hire Details Construction and Development in a heartbeat.

We meet Robert through my older daughters close friend who is a interior designer. They have done several projects for her in the past. Details Construction and Development team have been simply phenomenal, highly professional and trust worthy. With our family growing we added a third story to our existing home. It was a substantial project. Robert clearly communicated his plan. It made the most sense for us, we trusted him and agreed to move forward. One of the best decisions my wife and I have ever made. We did run into a minor delay because of a difficult neighbour. Robert was able to step in very fast and mitigate. It was a breath of fresh air working with Robert. Just moved in to our newly renovated home in Roncesvalles. It was truly a fun and exciting journey. Special thank you to Robert, was such a blessing work with such a diligent and trustworthy Contractor. He outlined all the steps that would be required in order to obtain the building permit for the renovation, and addition. He showed us two current projects prior to signing the design agreement. One was a full gut and renovation of a semi-detached in the Leslieville neighbourhood, the other was a large North York custom home addition. Both substantial projects looked very well organized and safe. It was reassuring to talk to other homeowners that have built with the company.
