Never ever hire this company or Richard. Richard is lazy, greedy, unprofessional, unskilled, & dishonest. He misrepresents the company as a team of skilled workers and there are none. He provides a precise estimate and then denies that the items are included in the contract price. If he showed up, he would work for an hour and leave. New hardwoods that went down were ruined the next day by trade who couldn't be bothered to watch drywall compound drippings, paint splatters or ladder - chunks out of new hardwood - paint on it and dust everywhere. He ruined brand new drywall by applying thick coats of uneven drywall compound. He ruined brand new trim, doors and baseboards. He thinks a completed paint job involves no prep work (sanding, filling nail holes, nails poking through, correcting minor dings, dents and corners and cleaning) and just painting with dirty brushes and rollers. He doesn't clean renovation dust/drywall dust, paint on hardwood floors, hinges etc. He ruins materials (stair nose, and mirror) and promises to replace them, but never does. He ruins other materials and doesn't offer or agree to replace them - hardwood floor plank and trim. First, he kept promising to fix just wanted more money first. Now, he states he will not fix his errors or deficiencies.
My experience with this company is that Richard (the owner) is a smooth talker, who comes and does the sales pitch and says they will take care of everything. And then once the contract is signed, all of the service disappears and it becomes an exercise in "do the minimum, charge the maximum."
