2 year+ customer still on a contract.
Problem started when I wanted to switch the phone number connected to the system from landline to cellular. No questions were asked when I changed the number, so I cancelled the home phone service after. One week later got a message saying the communication between my system and monitoring center failed, so I called in and was told I needed to install a GSM unit for $250, plus a new 36-month contract, plus increased monthly fee, or get a new system with more installation fee and increased monthly payment. I was not happy about that fact that no one explained to me all these would happen when I changed the number, and the 4 customer reps & supervisors & retentions I spoke with on the phone for nearly 2 hours didn't seem to be willing to help a customer, only tried to push me to pay the installation and get the new 3 year contract.
I didn't want to be locked for another 36 months, so I am now paying for a service that I am not actually getting until the contract ends, very upsetting and very wrong.
Wish I had checked the reviews here before I got the service, but I am going to cancel their service and switch to a more reputable company as soon as the contract ends.
