Dos Rios was hired to build a large concrete retaining wall, at the bottom of a hill in my backyard It was a sizeable project, involving an engineer, an architect as well as city permits. In hindsight, a project that i don't think he was experienced enough for. He was on site for 11 weeks, before i fired him and hired another contractor to finish the project. The top of the wall is not level, one side is bowed out, and one part of it is not actually the length it's suppose to be- it's short by about 6". In addition to that, the beveled edge, the only real "decorative" aspect to the wall is uneven and looks unsightly. He did not shore up the hill, until after it collapsed, and only did so, at my added expense. He did not provide his staff with a port-a-potty. despite them being on site for 11 weeks! I would not recommend Dos Rios. I dealt with about 6 professional contractors last year during this renovation and Adrian was by far the most challenging to work with, communicate with and was simply unable to meet any of the deadlines.

Finding a contractor willing to work for a retired building inspector is a difficult thing to do.
Adrian and the crew were aware that their work would be carefully scrutinized and under my watchful eye.
Understanding the complexities of a job is not something the average homeowner is aware of and l soon found this crew did not need my supervision though they were always open to my suggestions and together we managed to navigate the complexities of Covid, increased cost of building materials and weather.

Adrian and his crew were professional, careful and considerate of my ideas and concerns from start to finish. Shout out to Geo who always had the most pleasant manner no matter how difficult the job got.

Adrian, I would gladly recommend you and your crew to anyone if they need concrete work done. Even thou we had a few miscommunications on what the end result would look like (mostly due to my lack of knowledge) you took the time to explain the process and terminologies used to pour and finish concrete to me. In the end we have a great porch and walkway done at a fair price.

We live in a 5 year old home with a concrete porch and steps connected to the back of the house. There was an issue with my concrete porch that it was absorbing water but not drying properly causing it to spall on the surface. Adrian came by and it was discovered the builder did not create any weeping holes to allow the moisture to escape. He gave me some options and we proceeded with drilling a few holes into the concrete porch to allow it to breath. he was knowledgeable and professional. He was also very honest and was patient with all the questions i had before proceeding with a solution. I would definitely use him and his company again.

My mother needed the back stairs of her home replaced. Neither of us knew anyone in the business or anything about pouring cement. We were lucky when we called Adrian. His quote was in line with others we had received, and he was good at explaining the cement process that needed to unfold to both my mother and me.

He kept to the timeline, both for the cement stairs and the railings that needed to be installed. This was important to us as my son was getting married at my mother's home meaning the work had to be completed at the right time. He finished with time to spare.

He always answered our calls right away, either answering the phone immediately or calling us back within 5 minutes after leaving a message. This was comforting as not all contractors do this. We always felt he was available to answer questions or concerns.

My mother and I are grateful to Adrian and his crew for the work they have done. It is solid, lovely, and safe. We would highly recommend him.

Adrian and his team did a terrific job, from removal of the existing steps and with the installation of the new steps, installation of the custom railings and handrail, we could not be any happier. My in-laws are very satisfied and feel secure when walking in and out. This will be huge come winter time. Overall we are very happy with the end result. Only gripe would be the communication, as there were a few instances the communication ball was dropped.

Adrian and his team applied an epoxy covering for the floor of the garage of our new house. The guys were friendly and the results are excellent. This job involved three phases (washing the floor and applying 2 epoxy layers) and there were some communication issues about when the phases would be done... some proactive texts or calls from dos rios would have been helpful. However, i would still recommend this company

Adrian's team did a great job preparing the yard and constructing the concrete pad and cleaned up very well afterwards.
