Alex fixed the dryer 3 months back and charged $310 and now it has stopped working again. There is no response from the agency. We called several times and dropped messages.

I had an issue with my Samung Twin Cool Fridge. The area behind the Twin Cool cover was blocked with a large amount of Ice. The front digital display had incorrect readings.

Called Fix Repair Appliance yesterday. Alex came today on time. He presents himself professionally. In talking about the issue, Alex came across as very knowledgeable about Samung fridges.

Alex identified the issue, explain the problem and the design flaw that caused the problem. He not only fixed the problem, but rectified the design flaw.

I would highly recommend Fix Repair and Alex.

After ordering a part and attempting to repair my Miele washing machine, the same problem arose on the very first wash. They refused to come back and finish the job and still charged me the entire amount. Five appointments were booked and missed before they stopped responding to emails, texts or calls.

The fridge has been fluctuating between 3 and 13 degrees. I called FixRepair to come and diagnose the issue. Alex came over and diagnosed the issue as a problem with the thermostat, and quoted $169 for the the part and $180 for labour. It seemed really expensive for both the part, and as well the labour but gave him the benefit of the doubt and was content with the prospects of a working fridge.

Alex left and came back an hour later to replace the part. During the installation or replacement of the new part which took a total of 5 minutes: he did not show me the new part, the part that was being replaced, and also rudely refused to show me the invoice of the part when asked citing he doesn't need to share with me.

Once payment was made and invoice was provided, he rushed out while the fridge was at 16 degrees without any cool air coming in from the fridge but reassured me not to worry and the fridge would work and to give it some time. 1 hour passed and I had to unplug and replug the fridge the get the cooling to turn on.

After monitoring the fridge for a couple of days, the exact same issue still exists. Attempts to have Alex come back to fix the issue have either been ignored, or resulted in no show at the time scheduled.

I almost never write reviews but this is an experience I hope can be avoided by others.

When I contacted Alex about removing my existing wall oven, and installing a new one, he told me he had done this many times before, and quoted me a price of $125.

When he arrived to do the installation, he said he would need another person to help him, and doubled the price to $250. Since I was unable to wait, I agreed.

He then proceeded with the install. When he connected the oven's wiring to the wiring in the wall, he apparently ended up using under-sized connectors, and 'sealed' the connections using masking tape, NOT electrical wiring tape.

A few days later, my wall oven completely stopped working.

I called the oven manufacturer's service department, and they sent over a technician. The technician removed the wall oven, and showed me the wiring connection - BURNT, BLACKENED, with melted gobs of wire insulation. He told me I was fortunate that the fire did not spread!

So, I contacted Alex to see what he would do to fix the problem. As soon as I told him what had happened, he IMMEDIATELY STOPPED COMMUNICATING - didn't return phone calls or messages.

Rather than continuing to bat my head against a wall, I just went ahead and hired a licensed electrician to re-install my oven properly.

So, my advice to you - if you come across this character, BEWARE!!!

Alex came and found i needed a new part, he came back with the new part two days later as discussed and found the part was rusted on. He worked on it for much longer than I could have hoped and finally got it. Hell of a job done and I'd recommend him to anyone that needs machine machine repair.

Alex came in this morning to diagnose my warm fridge and freezer. He quickly diagnosed the issue, and left to get the replacement part.

He replaced the defective part, and the fridge is working much better now.

Very professional, and provided some helpful hints to me to ensure better temperature flow in the fridge and freezer.

Alex came to fix our dryer - he was prompt and clearly knew what he was doing. He didn't have the right part, so came back 2 days later. One week later the dryer stopped working again (4 years old). He determined that the motor is malfunctioning and offered to replace it. We agreed to pay for the part ($350) and he is not charging us labour to replace it. Hopeful that this will solve the issue.

I woke up to a warm fridge this morning.
Looked up some reviews and decided on Fix Appliance. Alex asked some questions on the phone to make sure it was worth the call and agreed to come within 90 mins.
He was prompt, prepared, very pleasant and professional and fixed our fridge within 40 mins.
