I paid $339 to fix a leak, replace the defroster. It stopped working and leaking again in less than 3 weeks. I have tried multiple times to call. He says he will call back, he will fix it the next day, and we wait at home....and no one shows up. This has happened several times. This company provides poor service. Please dont use them.

Fridge had the thermostat replaced February 4/22 by Fixrepair. Less than 2 months later ice had built up once again and they were contacted. We explained the situation and pointed out there was an applicable warranty .
Twice we were told they would call back. We received no calls so contacted them again and were told someone would be at our home the next morning. No one showed up and we have never heard from them again. So we gave up with this company.

Called Fixrepair to fix my fridge at my rental unit on February 2, 2022. Technician went to the unit and said it would be $536 (taxes included) to fix the fridge. I agreed and he completed the work. On March 1, 2022 my tenant phoned me to tell me the fridge was not working again. I called the Fixrepair number and the same technician I spoke to last time picked it up. I explained my fridge was not working again and he said he would call me back. I did not hear back from him that whole day. I tried calling him the next day and he was avoiding my calls. I asked my tenant to give him a call and he picked up the phone. He told my tenant he would be at his premises in 2 hours. He never showed up. After 4 hours my tenant tried calling him again and nobody was picking up. We both tried again today and still nothing. Fixrepair is happy to take your money but if anything goes wrong they will avoid you like the plague. Stay away!

We sent him pictures, model number (to get the part) and the issue about a leaky dishwasher. Showed up, spent 5 minutes, said he has no parts and to call GE. Never saw him again.

Appeared late, broke our dishwasher, and then ditched us when we tried to get them back here to fix it. Would advise anyone to avoid at all costs. They were terrible.

Deposit of $200 was transferred to ALEXANDER B. to have our 2018 Samsung dryer fixed at the condo on October 23, 2021. He committed to ordering the part and having it fixed by the first week of November. He was made aware that the condo sale would proceed on October 26 th but that the Buyer has agreed to allow the opportunity to have it fixed by November 15, with a $565.00 holdback on the sale in the event it did not get repaired.
We understand the unfortunate situation that Alex is facing having not received any parts he’s ordered, according to one conversion he had with my husband.
At this point, we’d just like our deposit e-transferred back to us - that’s all.

I had an issue with my fridge ice maker The fridge ice maker and I called Fix-Repair to come and diagnose the issue and he came and quickly diagnose the issue and recommended to replace it, and although It seemed he was really expensive for both the part, and as well the labour and He came next day and replaced my ice maker.
Once payment was made and invoice was provided, he rushed out without being sure of anything and I had to call him 20 min after he gone to fix something working with the installation of the ice maker. After that the icemaker was over making Ice and overflowing the freezer with ice which cause even more problems and I kept calling him over and over and I am either been ignored, or resulted in no show at the time scheduled for 4 times now!.
I am considering now to dispute his payment with the bank for non-delivering what promised and installing faulty equipment

After such unpleasant experience with Fix-Repair I hope other customers can avoid that shop and safe their money in more professional and responsible places

Leaking washing machine.
Alex said it was a clog which he said he fixed then left within half an hour.
As soon as I did a load of laundry I noticed it was now leaking profusely. So he fixed one problem but created a new one.
He said he would come back to honor the work warranty but didn't show 3 times.
It's near impossible to get a hold of Alex, he is the only employee so there is no recourse if he does not complete or do a job.
He will not return phone calls and worst of all he did not provide an invoice or receipt of any kind. Once the work is done and you've paid you'll never hear from him again so using this buisness is a big risk. Will have to file a complaint under Ontario Consumer Protection Act.
There is no accountability for this buisness, I got suckered by this guy and reading the reviews I see I'm not the only one.  Absolutely awful service on all ends, and on top of bad service Alex refuses to answer phone calls or emails.

Came to fix it, but still leaking, said he would charge again. Then said he would email me for the problem that happened. Had to chase him down, promises and doesn't follow through.
