I signed a contract with Nikom in 2022. They took a water softener out of my home and did not return it to the supplier, so in addition to paying them monthly, I had to buy it out from the original supplier. The new softener is defective and they do not respond to service requests. They financed it through Simply Finance, so it is arm's length and I cannot stop payments. Simply does not deal with them now due to so many complaints from consumers. I have sent many requests both phone and email. Do not deal with them. This place has taken advantage of my elderly parents. They have been charged $30000 for a tankless water heater and a water softener. There is also a service for windows on this bill that my parents did not request, and it was never done. I have taken over trying to reach out to this company as it has caused my mom extreme stress that she does not need. I have called Vlad since the end of August. I have been trying over a month and he never returns calls. If he answers there is always an excuse that he will call back and he never does.
They also had my parents sign a contract that will take them 30 years to pay. The salesmen told my parents 3 years. 30 years at 14% interest. My parents would not of signed this if they were truthful.
It is time to have a consumer advocate, and a lawyer to be involved.
Would never recommend this company!!

I have read other reviews and can't believe we are dealing with the same company.
I have had nothing but problems from day one. They did not return phone calls or emails when I had problems post installation, for 2 weeks all I got was automated emails stating the problem would be fixed "tomorrow ", after multiple calls and emails someone was sent to fix the incorrect installation. A couple of weeks later I discovered there was water leaking into the furnace again it took several calls/emails for them to send out local company to fix the problem but several weeks later that company called me to say they had not yet been pain and no one at Nikom was responding to their calls or emails. I had to threaten to stop payment before they finally paid them.
The promised credit on my gas bill that was supposed to be applied on the "next billing cycle " took 3 1/2 months and the promised rebate has yet to appear, it has now been 5 1/2 months that I have been dealing with this awful company. Absolutely terrible customer service!!

I need to write this as the company will not acknowledge other forms of communication (except texting), even from the Better Business Bureau. Possibly they will respond, as they know clearly who I am, by a review that will make people think twice before they do business with them. Nikom needs to do the right thing, change their business practices, and correct this mess.

Nikom Home Comfort (Hanna Bird and Vlad who is the owner) charged my senior mother on July 16th 2022 $11,750 for a tank less hot water heater and an air purifier and amortized payments over 20 years. She is 78. The hot water tank is installed (with exception of an air intake hose so still not complete) however the air purifier has not been available for installation on both occasions when they came to the house. It is still not installed and my mother is worried about them coming into the house again. Multiple terms on the 1 page contract (yes, only 1 page) have not been honored after multiple requests in writing. My mother has been paying for this since July 16th. It is now December 19th 2022 at time of writing. This review is not about the costs (which are quite ridiculous to say the least), it is on the general principle of taking advantage of people and unethical business sales practices. I have requested for them to cancel the contract and remove the partial installation but have not heard back from them.

My mother had a service call 5 weeks after the hot water tank was installed as there was no hot water. It took Nikom 6 days to show up and fix it. I had to track down the owner directly as the sales rep Hanna Bird, would not respond to my mother's calls or emails and the customer service line disconnects once it goes to voice mail. My mother was paying for peace of mind knowing that they would fix any HVAC issues, but now she is worried as they are difficult to contact and do not respond in a reasonable time frame. A response time of 6 days is unheard of by anyone in the HVAC industry. I also thought they would complete the job they agreed to but still, it is not done.

My mother was with Reliance prior to Nikom and they wrote in the contract that they would look after the cancellation as part of the costs, however, my mother is being charged by them still 6 months later and she just had a call from a collection agency as a result. That is how we knew it was not cancelled. I have just called and cancelled it myself and had to pay the bill for the last 6 months, which Nikom had promised in writing to look after.

I have requested on two occasions to cancel the contract and remove the hot water tank and we can part ways. All they have done is offer some free payments, however, my mother cannot get any information as to where those payments are going. My mother was going to just pay off the entire balance as she is losing a lot of sleep over this, however they will not release the name of the financing company after multiple requests.

I need to warn others about this experience. It has already been raised through the Consumer Protection Agency and the Better Business Bureau. It will likely go to court as they do not respond. It is a fairly straight forward case based on the contract deficiencies non deliverable agreements. They will not respond to the Better Business Bureau after 3 attempts at this point, and Consumer Protection is working with me now on next steps. I think that speaks volumes, as do watch lists.

If Nikom agrees and cancels the contract, then I will do the right thing and update this review accordingly.

This company just cost my senior father a lot of moneyUpsold him to best water heater money could buy… then charged way more.. then added 6.99 interest over 180 months…. By the way it obvious my fathers home is in disrepair. You should be ashamed of your selves. Someone please help.

This company has reached out to my father, to rectify this situation. Offering a discount on the water heater. Also allowing us to remove the costly payment plan.

The workmanship of installers was good and timely, and the quality of the product is very good.
The company does do good work.
In our circumstance it was unnecessary. We ask that the sales team adjust its practice. To consider the true needs our senior homeowners.

Brian was very informative about what needed to be done. They came on the day specified, right on time. Cleaned after and told me exactly what they did. Showed me pictures of work done. Were fair priced. I would definitely recommend them.

I am one very satisfied customer! Glad I worked with Brandon and referred my clients to him. His team was punctual, did the work professionally and resolved the moisture and smell issue on the garage and powder room, added the attic insulation to code plus the baffles for air circulation. I chose Nikom with my attic insulation, Brandon has a super friendly positive attitude when he reached out. From the get go he was amazing to deal with from start to finish of the job. Brandon was able to work with my time, came by took a look took some pictures of to show me. He was very detailed explained everything from pro and cons, Was not pushy at all. After finishing the job Brandon and Rico cleaned up made sure everything was good and showed me before and after pics. Very satisfied with the outcome and their workmanship they went above and beyond. I would recommend Brandon to anyone that is looking to have their insulation done.

This company has set the standard for service. I am Very satisfied with the level professionalism shown by Brandon and his team. The communication was timely, the assessment and delivery was thorough, the team was very knowledgeable and I appreciated the advice. Highly recommend Brandon and this company for their services.

Led by Brandon, with 2 workers, I could not have been more pleased with the result of insulation upgrade in the 1900 sq.ft. attic. Well done.
