The team at AC Interiors came highly recommended to us by a friend who had worked with them twice. They did not disappoint. After meeting Aidan, we felt confident that they would be able to transform the main floor of our house with its tired and outdated kitchen and space that didn't function for our large family to something that was beautiful and functional.

Sam was our designer and we couldn't have asked for a better or more talented designer. She was able to take our ideas and create a design that we had not even considered. She suggested changing our dining room, a space that we rarely used, into a much needed and stunning mudroom full of storage AND a spacious pantry next to our kitchen. She also altered the layout of our kitchen to accommodate a large island and much needed storage. The number of changes is too long to list, but suffice it to say, Sam and her team has transformed our house to the stunning space that it is now. After living here for several months, I can say that everything they recommended, even ideas I was unsure of, were spot on and we have discovered how useful all the design and storage they suggested has been.

On top of that, they took care of every detail and they were very open with timelines and costs. I never had to spend any time making design decisions, but if I wanted something different, Sam was always gracious and happy to give me alternate options. They guarantee all their work, and whenever we had concerns, they made sure they were addressed and corrected, and sometimes even redone. Our contractors, Jason and Matt, were wonderful, courteous, and kind and were so clean at the job site. All of their subcontractors took such great pride in all their work and never cut any corners.

Lindsay was also amazing with the budget and keeping us up to date with timelines and any changes. Even after the completion of the renovation, she has been quick to help us with issues we've had with an attempted break-in, answering calls and reording our amazing door that the burglars could not break through despite crowbars and multiple people kicking the door!

Finally, the whole process was so well done--our team of Sam, Lindsay, Jason and Matt are a well-oiled machine who communicate to each other and us so quickly and made a big renovation which is typically a very painful process, to something that was manageable and exciting. They are honest with their costs and timelines and I truly believe they were worth every penny. I would recommend them without any hesitation. The whole team at AC Interiors truly want to get the project done to their customer's satisfaction and to top it off, each one of them are kind human beings that are passionate about their work.

Attention to detail and current trends along with competent project management.

We had several designers come through our home to help us with our cramped kitchen and dated main floor. Aidan, from AC INTERIORS DESIGN & BUILD was the only one to suggest moving the kitchen. Her design team showed us three different floor plan layouts, with the kitchen in a new spot and we loved how she totally changed the style and functionality of our home. Their trades were so respectful on site, as we lived in the home during the renovation, and left the site so clean each day. Their skills are obvious in the finishes of the home. We also opted for a full furniture package and styling at the end, to create that beautiful and cohesive final product. We love our home and the whole team.

We used AC Interiors to design and lead the renovation of our 100 year old home. It was no small job - we added 50% more floor space through an addition, and completely redid the existing floorplan. Beyond managing construction, they handled all the furniture selection and sourcing - we literally carried our clothes into the house and it was ready to go!

Working with Sam, Lindsay and Aidan made it a much more seamless process. In particular, they helped us think through our floorplan (much more usable thanks to their advice), they handled design choices that we weren't interested in (I have a picture of them inspecting 30 different grout colours to get it right), and managed the process from start to finish. They helped us pick a great contractor as well, and worked together to bring our dream home into reality.

The results speak for themselves - we have a home that everyone compliments us (though they should compliment AC), but more importantly it is comfortable and suits our lifestyle.

I found AC Interiors on Instagram. I chose them because I liked the work that they did. We were looking for someone to renovate our kitchen, powder room, and ensuite washroom. They also renovated the entrance to our house, and updated the family room, living room and dining room. I had a vision of what I was looking for and Samantha listened and brought it to life. My husband and I love our house! It is bright, and beautiful. I wouldn't change a thing! Samantha, Lindsey, Matt and Jason all worked so hard to address any concerns that we may have had along the way. We lived in the house through the reno and couldn't have asked for a better team.

We used AC Interiors for 3 projects at our home. First was a large project adding a third car garage onto our home. Our place is 34 years of age, so finding a natural stone to match the old brick was not an easy task for me. The AC team found a beautiful full bed stone that blended with our old brick making it a perfect compliment to our home. The design included adding stone on the other side of the house to balance it out. It turning out looking so stunning.
The second project was turning an unused room into a beautiful sunroom with a service area when we have guest over and a dual desk area for our children to do their homework. This room got a lot of traffic off the pool so choosing a tile that hid dirt and was also non slip was key.
The third project was transforming my tired looking bedroom to a beautiful and fresh space for us to enjoy day and night. The team freshened the paint and selected classic pieces of furniture we can enjoy for years to come.

Lindsay, Aidan and their team really impressed us with the amazing finishes and superior design of the home. That is what I expect from a reputable interior design firm. But it goes far beyond that with AC Interiors that impressed us the most. They kept the renovation moving by doing all the dirty work in the background. As a client, we hired them to be hands on designers and project managers, and thats exactly what we got and more. Honestly the project ran as smoothly as can be. You might say, Come on, it cant be all positive, but it truly was. Dont get me wrong, they arent doing it for free, but they are giving you the best possible service and value for your money thats out there. No question. With such a big investment and risk involved, you dont want to cut corners by having the wrong people running your project.

AC Interiors handled the day-to-day headaches (budget, schedules, covid, permits, etc) for us behind the scenes, and kept us updated regularly. We never felt the need to chase them for information, they were very transparent with us throughout the renovation. Their reputation for customer service is well earned, we can attest to that. AC Interiors is in the business of making their clients homes beautiful while making the process as seamless as possible. The quality of the contractors they use is also big differentiator for them. We never heard any trades use foul language, never saw anyone smoking on the property, everyone was courteous and professional and the quality of the work was high end. You felt like this is how its supposed to be when you hire a contractor. Full stop. This is not something youll get using a low-bid general contractor. At the end of the day, were relieved we chose AC Interiors for our renovation. Having learned lessons with other contractors in the past, you really get what you pay for.

One last comment, we dont normally trust contractors, and we were hoping for the best when we hired them. Now that its over, we can say that if youre on the fence about hiring AC Interiors and you have the budget thats realistic for what you desire, you wont be disappointed with them. You can really trust them with your renovation. They wont lead you astray.

We will be using them again. Its not even a debate.
