We have never had a worse experience with a home renovation than we had with this father and son company. We engaged SNS to do two jobs: to build some shelves in our garage, and to redo a bathroom in the basement. They asked to be paid in four weekly instalments on the basis of a planned four-week project. We gave them the first payment to buy supplies and get started. Joe (also known as Reg) and his father Ron began the smaller job (the shelves) on a Wednesday. At the end of the day on Friday of that week, Joe asked for the second payment. We gave them a banker’s draft. On the following Monday, they didn’t come or call. On the Tuesday they arrived late, and then walked off the job under mysterious circumstances. At this point, although the shelves were only half complete, they had two of the four payments for the total amount of both jobs.

The amount of work that was completed on the shelves is worth considerably less than the first of the two payments they received. When we spoke with them about finishing the shelves, they gave us four different dates, but never came. We then demanded that they at least return the second payment by a certain date, but there has been no response. We strongly recommend potential clients not hire this company.

The installation was done professionally to our full satisfaction. It was done quickly and the work place was left clean.

I was looking for someone to repair the gutters at the rear of the house, so a pretty small job for most companies. Reg was quick to respond to my request for a quote and had the parts in the truck so he was able to start right away. The gutters were repaired and leaves cleaned out, he left the place spotless when he was finished.
