The team at Birk Home Improvements did an absolutely fantastic job on our bathroom renovation. It was a full gut job including tub to walk-in shower conversion. After following their social media for a few months, we decided to get a quote. Their use of proper materials and practices is what we like. Now they were not the cheapest nor the most expensive but after some conversations we felt comfortable going with Birk. Talking through a plan and ideas with the owner, Raj, was a pleasure. Not only was he knowledgeable but he also listened to our crazy ideas and talked through them to reach a final design. Raj, Faheem and his staff are so careful about attention to detail, custom build to fit, have great suggestions, are very polite and trustworthy. Birk Home Improvements should be your number one choice for your home, we know they will be for ours!

After our water heater burst, our basement needed renovation. We called in multiple contractors, including contractors recommended to us by our insurance company, to provide us a quote to repair and renovate our basement. None of them were as thorough or professional as Birk Homes. Although they weren't the cheapest quote we received, we felt their attention to detail and quality, coupled with their ability to understand our vision and provide their perspective was the differentiating factor for us. We had done renos in the past where the lowest price ended up costing more in the long run. We followed up on a couple of their referrals and decided to move forward with them. Best decision we ever made! Gave us a 3 week window about a month out, showed up on time, and completed the project on time and just shy of our max budget. We even had a project post-partum where they walked us through all the work that was done which was incredibly reassuring. Incredibly kind and easy to work with from start to finish. I have just had the best renovation experience with the contractor Birk Home Improvements. They were so polite, helpful, hardworking and they finished ahead of schedule. After our first meeting to explain what I needed to have done, I knew I had found the right people for the job. I needed to have a main floor laundry for accessibility/safety reasons and I am so thrilled with the custom addition of an enclosed laundry room within the spare bedroom. It is beautifully tiled with a custom-made enclosure. The best part that everyone loves is that the lights in the laundry enclosure come on automatically when the doors are opened. That was their idea and I just love it. Raj and his staff are so careful about attention to detail, custom build to fit, have great suggestions and are very polite and clean up every day before they leave. Birk Home Improvements is definitely the trustworthy contractor I will use for future renovations. Best of all I no longer dread doing laundry, I actually enjoy it!
