I contacted Josh about installing new shut-off valves and a new sump pump for our house. Josh responded promptly to both requests. He took the time to fully explain the procedure with replacing our shut-off valves including how to contact the Region of Halton to shut off the water to our home. With his guidance, working with the Region staff was very easy. Josh showed up on time to replace the shut-off valves and worked directly with the Region Technician to both shut off the water and then to turn it back on as soon as possible to minimize disruption to our house. His installation of the new main shut-off valve as well as the two shut-off valves for our outdoor taps was excellent and he took the time to clean up any mess from the installation and showed me how each new shut-off valve worked. Josh also showed up on time to install our new sump pump and took the time to explain the work involved. After the installation was completed he cleaned up the work area and fully explained to me how the new submersible sump pump worked as well as the new check valve including testing it if required. We are very impressed with the work performed by Josh on both of these plumbing projects that our house required and will be contacting him for any future plumbing needs.

We needed a new smart faucet installed and leak in our shower investigated. Josh responded to our inquiry quickly and offered to come out the next day. Josh was knowledgeable, professional and efficient with his time. He even suggested a few things we could do to try and solve the leak on our own before taking more invasive steps like opening a ceiling or wall. I'm so happy I found Josh on Homestars! I had a leaking pressure vacuum breaker in a basement tub, and sent photos to Josh. He responded quickly and recommended removing the PVB entirely and replacing it with copper pipe. I didn't need it fixed immediately and he booked me in his first available slot, a week later. Josh arrived on time (mask and booties on, which I really appreciated), worked super quickly and had everything done in less than an hour, leaving everything clean as a whistle. Josh is honest, knowledgeable, skilled and explained everything really well - he knows his stuff. What he quoted is what I paid.
