I reached out to James and his brother Alexandro for renovating my backyard with two tasks - Interlock and landscaping. While I would give rate them 4/5 for interlocking and Im satisfied with that, but I would rate them 2/5 for landscaping.
My biggest problem with the backyard was the insane volume of weed there. Unfortunately the problem still exists even after their work. Its been 5+ weeks now with little to no grass growing in the backyard. Within the defined scope of work, they got relatively less material (soil, triple mix, river rocks etc.) than what was needed. I had to literally stand there and ask them to get more material as I was literally seeing them fill HPV/crushed stones instead of soil in some patches due to lack of material. After multiple requests and denials they agreed that the material was insufficient and had to come next day with more stuff.
Communication wise James is great, hes warm and friendly but at the same time looking at my backyard while watering everyday, full of weed again with little to no grass even after spending considerable amount does leave a good impression for sure.
