Good Bones Carpentry

We hired Austin, from Good Bones Carpentry, to do a renovation that involved installing new baseboards and door casings throughout entire basement, as well as lowering all existing doors, closet doors, and door jams, as we had a flood and had removed the existing sub floor.

Austin was very kind and friendly and you could tell he was genuinely wanting to help us out with our needs. He understood we were on a tight budget and was able to give us a quote with a few different options to go with depending on how much we wanted to spend, which was really nice and we really appreciated that. We chose to re-use all the existing room doors, closet doors, and door jams rather than buy new ones. He worked tirelessly and always cleaned up at the end of each day. He even went out of his way to fix an exterior door that was sticking so we didn't have to buy a new one.

We were truly happy with all the work Austin did, and would definitely use Good Bones Carpentry again in the future.

Good Bones Carpentry completed a major Main Floor Renovation for my very old house! They modernized it for me and did a fantastic job, very high quality finish. It consisted of demolition - walls, kitchen, flooring, framing to accomodate the new layout changes; complete new kitchen - new layout / re-framed/ new cupboards/ sink/ backsplash in brick, ceramic floors; new insulation throughout framing on entire main level, drywall/mudding, new trim, new hardwood floors throughout (Except kitchen), painting, caulking. They were great communicators, dependable, hard workers, and the finish was high quality. The team was a pleasure to have around, polite and respectful. They cleaned up the job site, leaving little for me to do.
I had hired them prior, to do a complete reno on my basement unit. They turned into a beautiful apartment, with upgraded plumbing, electrical, new bathroom with heated porcelain flooring and modern look, a complete new kitchen, and open concept layout with live edge finishes. They can do framing, and they can do finishing carpentry.
A good investment, they focus on quality. I will always recommend them !
