Peter repaired my 12 year old Dacor wall oven several months ago and did a great job. He called back right away and we corresponded by email and I sent pictures so he could figure out in advance what might be the problem so he could order the part. Then when I had a problem with my gas cooktop I contacted him and again he was able to figure out the problem and order the parts in advance. Both times he estimated how long it would be to get the parts from the US and he arrived on time when he came to do the repair. I would highly recommend Modern Appliance

Peter did a great job fixing my wall oven, when he discovered that only one of the parts he ordered was broken he offered to return it to save me money.

While out of the country on vacation my kids emailed me to tell me the dryer was not working. One email to Peter at Modern Appliances and he was over at the house, diagnosing the problem. My kids were so happy that Peter was able to quickly repair the dryer. I strongly recommend Modern Appliance. My kids do too!!!

Amazing service. Courteous and prompt. They were able to narrow the problem down to 2-3 potential issues over the phone. When they arrived, they were definitive in their diagnosis and lo and behold, 3 days later, I have cold food again!

Called Modern Appliance and Peter answered on the first ring. I described to him the noise that my washer is making, he diagnosed the issue over the phone and recommended that repair would not be practical for a machine that age. Peter also recommended best brands to replace it with, and where to buy it for the best price.
