I called Dennis at 8:30 AM, and he was able to come at 3:00 that same day. He showed up right on time, had everything he needed, and was finished in less than 30 minutes. Fast, clean, and did a perfect job! I would recommend him highly!

John came in the late fall, did a very thorough inspection of our roof, and advised exactly what needed to be done, and also told us it could wait until the spring. In the spring, he showed up to make sure the crew had a good understanding of what needed to be done. Crew was efficient and courteous, finished on time and left absolutely no mess. John returned to inspect and take pictures of the new roof to show me. Excellent service, on time, on budget. Very easy to deal with.

Called Modern Appliance and Peter answered on the first ring. I described to him the noise that my washer is making, he diagnosed the issue over the phone and recommended that repair would not be practical for a machine that age. Peter also recommended best brands to replace it with, and where to buy it for the best price. I've used Modern Appliance before, and they've never let me down! Ten stars again.

The washer gave up and my repair guy told me that it wasn't worth fixing. This is at 9:00 in the morning. My repair guy recommended Whirlpool as a replacement, and he recommended Canadian Appliance - he said I wouldn't find a better price. Went onto their website, found what I wanted, called the 877 sales number. Now it's about 10:30. Mark from sales was very helpful and even gave me an even better deal than the awesome price that was on the website. The punchline is that the appliances were delivered 2 hours later. I'd highly recommend this place!

I picked up the phone and called Dave to get some advice after finding them here on home stars. This guy really knows his stuff, asked the right questions, and recommended the right system for us. Not pushy at all, he just made sure that I understood all my options. Scott showed up a couple of days later (on time!) to install, and even went above and beyond to try to get an old Franke water heater working. The installation is perfect, and if you're on the fence about getting a system, don't be ... I've never had such a great cup of coffee at home! What a difference!

We called Raffi at AFG based on positive reviews on Homestars, to replace an ageing furnace and air conditioning unit at our house. Raffi showed up the next day and went through our options with us. His team showed up a few days later and installed the new equipment quickly and efficiently, a few days before Christmas. They left nothing behind and were very professional. Everything was perfect with the furnace, but when the heat of the summer rolled around we found that the fan was stuck on :low" and the house was not cooling properly. I called Raffi and he showed up that evening to look it over, finding a problem with the way the manufacturer had set up the control board - apparently there was a jumper required that was not documented in the manufacturer's installation guide. After a quick call to tech support, he fixed it and we were good to go. It's worth noting that this all happened at 10:00 PM after he'd already worked 14 hours during a heat wave. Try to find service like that somewhere else! Highly recommended.

The natural travertine floors in our entranceway and kitchen had become scratched, pitted, and generally crappy looking in the 10+ years that they've been down. Roman showed up the day after we called to give us a quote, which was a full 30% lower than another service that had given us a quote. The job was done quickly, on time, and cost the amount quoted. They didn't leave the slightest mess, and our floors look better than the day they were installed. Highly recommend!! This is the best $1000 we have ever spent on the house, made a huge difference!
