We were having an issue with our Electrolux dishwasher not draining properly after a cycle. I had another repair company come in and was quoted over $600 to remove the unit and replace the logic board.

Something didn't seem quite right about that suggestion, so I called Peter. He came by the next day and diagnosed the issue immediately as a blocked drain pipe. The fix was quick and simple, and saved me a huge chunk of money.

Would highly recommend and will certainly use again.

Modern Appliance is always prompt, efficient and friendly - all at a reasonable price. I've never had an issue they couldn't resolve.

Peter was very professional and courteous. He was able to isolate the problem and quickly repaired it. He also provided good tips on avoiding future issues.

Peter is always easy to get in touch with. Once I described the problem and gave him the model number of the dishwasher he arrived a couple of days later with the part and did the repair. It couldn't have been easier.

This was the third tie that Peter both promptly replied our call and servicing of our 14-year0old dishwasher. Our friends recommended replacing it entirely; however, Peter -- extremely knowledgeable about all makes of appliances -- determined that replacing the motor at a reasonable cost would extend the life of the unit another 10-12 years. He also somehow managed to find and replace the spring-operated lid to the soap dispenser which is very difficult to find; but he did it! Peter is friendly and shares his expertise readily. He also cleans up after himself as he respects the homes he visits. Modern Appliance is a remarkably great service. We are relieved that we found Peter. Yes, he'd be the first serve we'd call again for all otters large appliances.

Peter had done a previous repair for me so I knew what to expect. He showed up when he said he would (a little earlier than that actually) and once again the work was completed professionally and expeditiously. Peter and Modern Appliance are my go to for any and all appliance repairs.

Our oven had stopped reliably coming to temperature or holding temperature. Peter was able to identify the likely culprit, and came prepared with the right part. He was able to fix it quickly and checked to make sure it worked as expected. Peter arrived within the agreed time window and was very efficient.

I'm rolling out a pie crust now to celebrate with quiche.
