Honesty, experience, knowledge, and integrity are all traits we strive to find when we look to hire trades. Unfortunately, it's not always straightforward finding contractors who possess these traits.

We were in a situation where we discovered old clay drainage when renovating our basement, clay drain that to be replaced with a more modern solution. After an exhaustive search through a myriad of plumbing companies, we felt we were being quoted excessive prices and far out "scare tactics". Then I came across Matthew of Son Plumbing. Matthew visited our home, assessed the situation and provided a quote that was reasonable (ie: fair!) and gave me additional suggestions to improve our bathroom layout.

True to his word (and his price), Matthew completed the job in a manner whereby it was obvious through his craftsmanship and patience that he not only cares about his customers, but is proud of his work.

I wouldn't hesitate to hire Matthew again, and will certainly be bringing him back for our next renovation project. Thank you Matthew! You truly stand out from the rest.

I came home from vacation to find my basement backed up. A friend of mine had passed along a business card for a plumber that he highly recommended so I called Son Plumbing. Matthew was prompt, proffessional, and was able to solve my problem with a minimum of fuss and at an affordable cost. Next summer I'm going to add an extra bathroom in the basement and I've already obtained Matthew for that job. Matthews the Man!

Matt was excellent in rebuilding our problem toilet. We thought we might have to replace the entire thing, but Matt recommended that we repair the mechanicals and the replace the intake value as it was leaky. Matt was honest, on time, professional and did an excellent job rebuilding all of the toilet mechanicals in just over an hour. It is like we have a new toilet! Highly recommended. Grab him before he gets too busy!

As a new homeowner I have had numerous surprises, some good and some awful, to date Matthew from Son Plumbing has been the best. After a home inspection and a subsequent visit from another plumber I was beset with how quickly the miscellaneous costs were amassing. After a strong recommendation, from a trusted friend, I contacted Son Plumbing for a second opinion. Matthew arrived promptly and quickly diagnosed the issue I was experiencing; with none of the “it might be” answers I had received previously, nor was I charged for an estimate. Matthew quickly repaired the issues in a fashion which exceeded my expectations. Since discovering Son Plumbing, Matthew has returned and installed a toilet in the main bathroom, he was able to make informed recommendations on products as well as advising on other concerns I had. I would be confident recommending Son Plumbing to anyone, and will certainly be requesting Matthew back for future projects.
