I called Joe because my water machine in the fridge was making a funny sound and wouldn’t dispense the water properly. The fridge was a rare make and although Joe wasn’t an expert on that particular model, he called a friend who came out and fixed it the next day at half the cost. Joe could have charged me whatever he wanted for the rare part, like most other service providers, but he got the job done for 1/2 the price - there’s a reason he has such amazing reviews. Will call him for all my appliance needs.

From start to finish Ian and his team were professional, trustworthy and respectful. I have 925 sq ft of lawn that needed to be completed and most other companies on HomeStars gave high bids or didn’t want to make a small lawn a priority. The guys were prompt and showed up on the exact date they had scheduled and did an amazing job. They provided a detailed maintenance plan and were easy to deal with !’

My tenant of 6 years moved out earlier than expected, and I called Aida for a "deep clean" of the condo last minute, to get ready to put on the market and she notified me she was booked that weekend. However, she said she will find someone that she works with to come clean the condo. She set up everything and the cleaners (Brenda) came out and brought the condo back to its original cluster. Behind the stove and fridge sparkling. The bathroom which had 6 years of grime left on it, was almost brand new. The washer and dryer closet was cleaned perfectly. You can hire Aida without thinking twice. Not one negative thing to say. They showed up they sparkled and they were on time and on budget. Amazing job. !!!!

We completed this project in January of 2014. We originally spoke to Kyle who walked us through the whole process and described what building materials will be used and why on the basement renovation. They completed the project in 2 weeks and provided tonnes of suggestions and helpful advice. The workers were extremely professional and cleaned up after they completed their work each day. They were alway smiling and provided explanations to any questions we had. We had to fill the cracks in the basement (photo attached) so most people should budget that into their reno costs as this is a brand new house from the builder that was only 3 years old and still had many cracks by the windows. The flooring, electrical and tile options were extensive and we couldn't be happier with the end result. A few months ago we did have a crack in the ceiling after 2 years of service. We called and within one week customer service had gotten in touch with us and send someone out to patch up the crack and finish it as good as new. No Questions, No hassle just great service at no extra cost. We had many quotes for our 800 sq ft basement and this was not only the most affordable, the quote was broken up and explained in detail. Many contractors some with high ratings on this site would just come and give a quote $8-$10,000 more than finishedbasements.ca without providing a breakdown or any logical explanation as to where they came up with the number. I wouldn't think twice about choosing another contractor. Have them come over for an initial consultation and I guarantee that you won't choose to go anywhere else for your basement needs. Trust the company that just does basements and nothing else. You wouldn't get your car mechanic to fix your furnace would you ???

We have done our master closet with Hercules in the past and have asked him to complete 2 more storage solutions for the front foyer closet and 2nd bedroom closet. Hercules has provided many design options and has given useful suggestions with respect to maximizing space. He has come to take measurements and has already given pointers for prepping the closets (which we elected to do on our own to save costs). Hercules is always full of energy and enthusiasm and I can't wait to post pics of the final product when he comes to install this weekend. Hercules completed the closets and both turned out amazing. It completely maximized the space and added endless storage. We added a ikea shoe cabinet last minute to the front foyer (no pictures attached) and Hercules helped incorporate into his original design and even offered to put it together as well. We are extremely happy with everything Hercules has done and he makes the day pass by fast with his great attitude and amazing knowledge. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hercules to anyone looking for a more custom touch with a high quality and affordable pricing.

Kevin and his brothers were amazing. They showed up on time and were completely professional. They were trustworthy enough to leave them their key. When we came home they would have everything packed neatly away in basement, so nothing would be in way. They were easy to get ahold of and gladly helped us with any request. They gave the best price during a busy time of season and provided a breakdown for each room. The job was amazing they were quick and had great customer service. Wouldn't go anywhere else these are great painters.

We have dealt with many contractors that have great reviews on Homestars. All contractors have been great but Richard's customer service is probably the best we have ever seen. He contacted us right away to give a quote and provided us with a competitive price. He was helpful in choosing something that would match our house design and something that would compliment 8 foot ceilings. He followed up with us to confirm appointments and to fit us into his busy schedule. He came on time and was done quicker then he even estimated. The final product was amazing. He provided with painters who also gave us a great quote and were very helpful. All in all Richard is the best contractor we have ever dealt with, before you do any kind of crown moulding or trim work get him to quote you first you wont be dissappointed.

Contacted Andrea to help us with paint choices. She was prompt, professional and very helpful. She gave us great ideas and picked timeless colours to help complete our decor. Even though we had most furniture and art already in place, she gave us creative ideas to help maximize the space and bring the whole look of the house together. She gave us advice up until she was got in her car to leave and her rate is competitive and fair. She provided different contractors who could help us with certain things around the house and was a pleasure to deal with. We would use her for any future projects. All round great experience.

Hercules was amazing from start to finish. He came up with the most practical and efficient design for our walk in closet. His price was so reasonable and the initial consult was so personable we opted to cancel future estimates and appointments with other closet companies. He gave us both cost saving and space saving options that in the end produced an incredible result. Hercules and his worker Mark came on time and worked hard to make sure the closets were installed without disturbing us at all. They even came back to do some touch ups and to install the original closet shelving in the garage for storage. Hercules was easy to deal with and refused to leave until we were 100% satisfied. I would definately use hercules again to do the rest of the closets in our house.
