Eddie just finished a fence and deck for my parents. Proper construction gave us an honest assessment of the scope of work agreeing that the foundation of the original deck was sound and only the decking and rails needed replacing. The work was quality and quickly done. His crew was very considerate of my older parents. The Neighbours were happy too. Of course because good fences makes good neighbours.

I used to be a huge fan of this store and had in the past bought many appliances. But customer service has deteriorated dramatically: 1) I wasn't told part of my on line order item was out of stock until after paid in full and received delivery details days later. 2) When I wanted to cancel the order I was promised on the phone that I could ship the available item immediately and the second out of stock item would be shipped no additional charge later on arrival 3) It turns out they will not ship the second item and it must be picked up. It showed up in another city for pick up 1 hour away. They refused to issue a credit for the second delivery or refund the first. I wanted to cancel the entire order and they refused as I had taken delivery of the first item (after being given misinformation). 4) To learn there was nothing they could do to fix this, I was on hold on the online chat as #1 in queue for 50 min (until I gave up), and was twice told someone would follow-up in person and no one did. When some one finally followed up they couldn't help me other then moving the item for pick up 20 minutes away instead of 1 hour. In conclusion - they don't really have a customer care team with enough staff to respond to customers or any ability to resolve problems. They will admit to giving wrong information and don't care.

2 years ago I reviewed Pavlo for excellent service for drain and indoor plumbing work. He has done all my plumbing repairs since. This fall, I was asking him for advice on a bathroom reno because I was having trouble finding a good contractor. I turns out that Pavlo does FANTASTIC BATHROOM - GUT AND RENO work. He just finished - not one - but two of my bathrooms with high quality workmanship, timely executed and reasonably priced. The pictures are below - they speak for themselves. The tile and shower glass work was superb and nothing will ever leak as his plumbing team is top notch. He gave me advice on which plumbing fixtures would hold up through time without leaks. He even guided me towards adding aftermarket legs to a floating vanity unit I purchased to prevent sagging with age. The chandelier above the tub was his idea as a special touch. These bathrooms should be in a magazine. Nicely done. Cost was 30K outside of material cost for tiles, bathroom fixtures, vanities, glass. We did a full tear out - walls, floors, tubs everything including repairing some water damage. Pavlo's team tore it all out and installed everything.

Tony's customer service model is well covered in online reviews which is why I choose his company. I wanted local service, quality work and high touch care since his workers needed to be in my home while we were all working from home. My personal experience exemplifies why he consistently gets positive reviews. We were juggling work on a number of rooms spread out over the summer. The first few jobs were exquisitely done. The quality of workmanship was superb. We even have a complex wrap around carpet on a spiral staircase with spindles. There was one job at the end that had lower quality workmanship. The next day when I touched base with Tony he dropped everything and personally missed dinner to oversee a redo of this portion of the work. In the end everything was perfect. My experience illustrates how deeply Tony's customer first policy impacts all his workmanship and customer relationships.

I have been looking for a plumber who can handle both plumbing and drain work. I have a small job plumber for leaks and stuff but I needed help with more complex work. I found Drain 1 and called Pavlo whom I found to be extremely honest, intelligent and careful. His team was in the day after I called and were in & out one day with some heavy work (jack hammer and snaking). The house was very clean when they left. The work well done. I am bringing Pavlo back for some additional detective work on another long standing problem.
