Excellent service! The owners were very cordial, easy to talk to. They did not ask for down payment, they did not ask to sign anything. Their installers just arrived on time the day of the installation, professional and very polite. I wished they manufactured and installed many other products aside from closet doors and mirrors.
Irresponsible Pest Control Company
We found bed bugs in the bed frame and we immediately wrapped everything up in plastic sheets and plastic bags to stop propagation. Then we called Pest-O-Kill, Vance came and we took off all plastic coverings for the treatment. There was a lot of concern from our part: 1) No written or oral instruction was provided regarding the treatment and post treatment. 2) Inspection prior to treatment is essential yet Vance did not inspect our suite or our master bedroom. 3) Vance told us to just take the plastic sheets we wrapped the infested bed frame straight out for disposal, but I disagreed and insisted we put them in sealed garbage bags first to avoid spreading of beg bugs in our suite and in our condominium building. 4) Vance did not bring a steamer to steam the mattress. He said he cannot use steamer in condominiums. He told us to take the mattress cover off so that he can spray the mattress. We were surprised that he did not bring a steamer when all the other companies told us the mattresses should be steamed and -not sprayed- due to the toxicity of the treatment. 5) Bed bugs eggs are spray resistant but can only be killed using heat or steam. But Vance did not have a steamer. 6) Vance did not bring a vacuum nor instructed us to vacuum after spraying. Vacuuming is a regular procedure companies do in order to pick up all the eggs which are spray resistant. 7) Our brand new carpet was stained due to the spray dripping off the bed frame. We tried several ways to clean it but realized that the stain will be permanent. The wall was scratched as well during the treatment. 8) One days after the treatment my husband was bitten for the first time. He also found a bed bug in a living room chair. The bed bug was more likely from the bed frame Vance sprayed. 9) I asked Nidia how much they would charge to spray the entire suite. She said there will be additional charge; again, without inspecting the suite first. Regardless, we agreed to pay more to have Vance come back and spray the entire room. A bed bug situation is a terrible thing to deal with; they hide well and spread fast. We were devastated. We forgot that we were supposed to report this event to our Management office. Once we realized that, my husband went down immediately to Management who recommended another company. The new company our management hired brought us relief. The inspection confirmed that the infestation was contained only in the bed frames. The technicians were very professional and handled the furniture and our home with lots of care. Note: We have not received any compensation or refund from Pest-O-Kill.
The customer called in about a used bed frame that she had purchased from a local classified. She insisted that only the bed frame be sprayed although every attempt was made to have her at least spray the entire room. Oral instructions were given over the phone as well as a link to the city of Toronto website. The customer was told the mattress would be steamed but she refused to remove the plastic from the mattress for which reason we were unable to steam it. It was explained to the customer that we don't provide heat treatment on any floor above the 5th. The technicians who did the job decided that it would be in their best interest to spray the whole room despite the fact she was only paying for the bed frame. Unfortunately this version of this fabricated story is at least her 3rd as she has been emailing us and we have been addressing her complaints and in the process she has been constantly changing her story. In fact within this version of the story she contradicts herself by saying a day after her bedroom was treated a bed bug was found on the living room chair. she than states The new company our management hired brought us relief. The inspection confirmed that the infestation was contained only in the bed frames." despite the many lies I emailed her and told her i would give her a full refund but like any other refund she would have to give me in writing that she received the money. The customer wanted me to put it in an envelope and leave it with concierge. This was unacceptable to me.
Mark was wonderful and very pleasant to deal with; he took all the measurements with care. Afterward I found out that actually he was the owner of Toronto Granite. The measurements were perfect and the granites were beautiful. Most of the employees were young and very pleasant; the only disappointment was their lack of genuine intention to carry out a good job. I dealt with the staff directly and did not want to trouble Mark constantly. But the staff came many times to patch up mistakes and eventually a disjointed backsplash was left unattended. I contacted Mark and the staff immediately came back and the backsplash was fixed.
This has been a unique experience to me; something I did not expect. Les, Tim, John and the rest of the Handyman Matters team were gentlemen all; they were responsive, knowledgeable, dependable, were tremendously courteous and helpful when approached. During the renovation my family and I moved to a small condo nearby, leaving the entire content of my condo in the guest room and in the solarium. Les and I communicated mainly through emails. Les was reliable, organized and very quick to answer all my questions during the renovation. He was particularly careful with the installation of the oven microwave combo due to the appliances being more heavy than usual. The appliances were installed a month ago and we have used them many times already. The job involved: - Demolition of 3 bathrooms, re-tiling, installation of new shower floor, bathtub, toilets, medicine cabinets, baseboards, new in- floor heating system, electrical, etc. - Demolition of old kitchen, re-tiling, installing new backsplash, baseboard, installation of a super heavy oven/microwave combo into an Ikea cabinet, range hood and connecting all the appliances, etc.

Timea had provided excellent service all the way; she was courteous, efficient, reliable and very professional. The carpet installers were very polite and helpful. They moved all of the largest and heaviest furniture for us, and like experienced movers the Alliance team had methods and devices which facilitated the moving process and protected our furniture. We had a major renovation done in our condo and lifting the carpets had turned the place into little bit of a sand storm that day. My husband left the mess, when he returned few hours later he found the heavy furniture back in place and most of the carpet laid.
Mark was very polite and wonderful. The job was completed six weeks ago and we have not had a single problem; therefore no needs for the Brazza team to return for repairs. The glass shower is very nicely done; it looks beautiful and an added comfort in my condo. Mark added a special coating, or Enduro Shield Treatment on the glass which makes shower cleaning 10 times faster leaving 90% less water and soap marks when using shower. The cost for the coating was $200 extra.

I dread going to a furniture store and be swamped by sales people. Fortunately I have not encountered any unpleasant moments like that in Stoney Creek. Most of the Stoney Creek sales consultants in the stores and behind counters were soft spoken and polite. The first sales consultant gave me a quote, but did not have a lot of information to offer on the furniture I was going to purchase. The second sales consultant was Brenda H. Brenda H. carefully measured the sofa and chairs I needed and put them quickly in a computer program. This program helped to visualize my living room and how the new furniture was going to fit in it. Brenda H. also gave me brilliant tips on nail head trim and valuable opinion on special order items. That day I was going to place order for three pieces of furniture, but ended up placing order for four. Nevertheless, one of the colors I have chosen for a chair was wrong, I emailed Brenda H. overnight. She read the email and carefully took care of the matter immediately. Not only that, when I phoned the next morning she had already selected 4 new colors (new fabrics) for me to consider when I drop by.
