It was time to redo our 30 year old upstairs bathroom and I decided to call Lampert because of their reputation and great reviews. I’m glad I did. Lampert did an amazing job on our complete bathroom renovation. I was extremely happy with every part of the process from planning, to the actual work, to communication, to the finished product. The new bathroom looks like something in a hotel! Lawrence was great in helping me plan the reno. I was especially happy with the amount of time he spent with me going over all the options for fixtures including pros and cons. I didn’t feel rushed at all. Ihor and Junior, who did the work, were hardworking and were very respectful and kept my house clean. As well, they were very personable and I would definitely request to have them do my next renovation. I’ve included 2 before pictures and 2 after pictures to give an idea of the beautiful work Lampert did. I would definitely recommend Lampert to others.

As part of our basement reno, we discovered that foundation cracks that we had repaired from the outside 17 years ago (plus 3 additional cracks) needed to be repaired. Our contractor recommended Steve and as others have said in their reviews, he is amazing! He reviewed the areas to be fixed, provided a thorough explanation of his method for treating, repairing and testing the work to make sure that leaks do not re-occur. After the work he reviewed the repairs with me. He even made some suggestions for the exterior to ensure that water doesn't enter where the outer walls of the house meet the ground level. I appreciate when a company not only provides the contracted service but also education about the service. It's a bonus when they go beyond and provide helpful actions to help the homeowner like Steve did. I would definitely recommend Wet Fix to others and will use them in the future if the need arises!

Just had our 2019 annual maintenance done with Cory and as always I continue to be impressed by this young professional! His knowledge and explanations to educate us about his work and our equipment show how passionate he is about his work. He has great communication skills and is very personable . He takes time to get to know us to build that client-service professional trust relationship which is very important to us as clients. As a result we know he's done a great job and we can approach him or the company if we have any questions. We are very happy to continue to use Mersey for our heating and A/C needs due to great service from Cory!

Another great experience from my go-to masonry company. In April I noticed a white material on inside the garage on the foundation and I was worried that it would compromise the integrity of the foundation. Greg and Joe informed me that it was efflorescence. Joe used hydraulic cement to parge one whole side and and the portion of the other side that was affected and educated me on the product he used and why it will help with the issue. He also replaced a few cracked bricks in my garage center column and pointed them as well. In addition he caulked my side door to prevent water from getting in behind the bricks so that it doesn't lead to further issues in the garage. As on past projects, he was personable, professional, and very thorough. His work is of the highest quality and it just makes me feel so good that I can call A&A whenever I have any masonry issues or projects and know what results I'm going to get.

Peter from Mr. Rooter is the best! He solved all my leaking problems! He installed shut off valves for the kitchen sink faucet and installed a new faucet. He also replaced the garage and backyard water hose bibs. It is not just the installation that made the experience great but the fact that he explained everything he was doing and gave me great advice about winter maintenance and just general maintenance of my equipment, plumbing etc. It was installation and education all in one! He was so pleasant and professional that I would not only recommend Mr. Rooter but also I would request Peter for any plumbing needs in the future!

Cory Latino did our A/C annual tune up 2 years ago. When he called to confirm he was on his way for today’s annual furnace and A/C tune up, I was very pleased. His work was as excellent as it was 2 years ago. Starting with calling ahead to say he was on his way, to explaining the process of his work to me, and also providing valuable advice about changing the furnace filter, rinsing the A/C unit (and showing me how to do it because I was nervous about it), and letting me know when we should clean our ducts – all of these show what a dedicated, professional, efficient and thorough representative of Mersey he is. His personable and courteous manner make him a true asset for the company. If I could give 15 stars to the company based on Cory’s visit, I would.

As a result of the May 4 windstorm I had trouble finding a roofer. I was met by busy signals and full message boxes. Ontario Downspout Services impressed me right from the start. Even though their message box was full and I couldn’t leave a message, Harvey called me back (just based on seeing my number on call display knowing I probably needed help!). That is true customer service! And my interaction with the company only got better. They promptly came out and put a temporary waterproof barrier on my roof to minimize any problems until they could schedule my roof replacement. Unfortunately the weather resulted in some interior damage, but when I called Mark to see if my repair could be moved up, he was able to shift things around to do my roof right away. The work that Mark and his team did was excellent. They worked very efficiently and took great care of my property. Harvey and Mark are very professional, personable, caring and courteous. When posters say they treat you like family, it is true. I was so impressed with my entire experience with the company that I would definitely recommend them to others and call them as my “go to” company in the future with any roofing related work I need.

About 4 very small areas of parging (done 2 years ago) chipped off due to movement of the concrete at the sides of my house. I called A&A and spoke to Andy about getting it repaired. He informed me that it could be taken care of under warranty. James came out today to take care of it. He did the walk around with me before and after the work. He is very professional and he did a great job on the repair. I also asked him many questions about other work I want to get done and he provided a lot of information about products and services. A&A is a great company with great staff!

I was pleasantly surprised when I was told on the phone that someone could come out the same day I called. I wasn't sure whether repair or replacement of the opener would be best and Mike explained what the issue was and walked through the decision with me. There was no pressure to replace the opener just great information from Mike that helped me make the right decision. He came back with the unit the next day. His work was excellent and he was very efficient. The best part of this experience is that Mike is a great representative of the company and he has great customer service skills! I would definitely use Dodds again and recommend them to all my friends and neighbours.

Anthony called to let me know he would arrive in 5 minutes. He explained what he would be doing and worked very efficiently. He answered all my questions in non-technical terms. He is one of the most courteous service people we have had provide service for us. He provides great customer service!

Originally I wanted someone to clean my eavestroughs and decided to call Mr. Handyman. I had a couple of other things that needed to be done and asked about those too. Gord and Victor were very informative in terms of telling me the best time of year to get various things done. Their work on weatherstripping one of my doors and adjusting the strike plate was great and it has eliminated the cold draft that left my laundry room ceramic floor ice cold! The work was thorough and they were very professional. This was my first time getting a handyman and I was happy with the work. I would definitely use them again.

A&A was quick to call me to make arrangements for the work and the work was completed within 12 days after my initial call to them (and within 7 days of the agreed start date). Very impressive! Our new limestone sills which replaced brick sills are absolutely stunning and look like they are original to the house which is a testament to the fine work that was done. The tuck pointing was done so well that you can’t even tell that there were once gaps and cracks in areas where we needed significant work. This work is truly flawless! The parging makes the house look like a new house. Every bit of work done by Joe and Kyle over the 5 days they worked so hard was of the highest standard including the attention to fine details like the caulking, matching of the mortar colour to the existing mortar, and clean-up. They are two of the most professional and courteous trades people I have ever encountered. We are extremely pleased with the results of the work. The entire experience from the initial visit and quote from Dan the sales rep, to the discussion with Andy, to the work done by Joe and Kyle was so positive I would recommend that others definitely use this company!
