I hired Metro-Wide to replace my asphalt driveway (28 years old) with new asphalt, and to add patterned concrete curbs and a new landing to our front porch. I was pleased that they were able to take on the whole job themselves, as it seems many contractors can only do either asphalt or patterned concrete. They were professional from quote to finished project, and we are very pleased with the result. They even took the trouble to re-sod where the grass had been disturbed. It is exactly what we wanted. A good family-run business, they seem to really care about doing a job they can be proud of.

We needed a handyman for some work on the outside of our house: checking for possible carpenter ant damage, painting, and some brick repointing. John responded in a timely way with a written quote, and did a neat, professional job using top-quality paint. He left the premises clean and tidy. He was very friendly and a pleasure to have around.

I switched to SafeTech from one of the larger companies 10 years ago. I have found them to be very responsive when we have had an alarm. We did an equipment update a few years ago and their technician was great. I switched because they were priced better and have been a happy customer ever since

Louie's guys removed the popcorn from ceilings in the upstairs of my house at the beginning of 2019. The ceilings look perfect - they did a great job. Much of it was done in rooms that I did not want to repaint, and they were painstaking when they repainted the ceilings to make clean lines between ceiling and wall. One complaint - I was not given a sufficient heads-up about just how much mess and dust would be created in the process. The dust is pervasive! I might have chickened out if I knew ahead of time, but now that it's behind me, I'm very happy with the results.

Simon and his team were friendly, hard-working, and showed pride of workmanship. They did a great job replacing the carpet on our stairs with hardwood, and updating the posts and spindles. Simon was very responsive to all communication.

I used this company for the first time in 2017. Their service was prompt and professionally done. They also provided some helpful information on the upkeep of my lawn, which was appreciated. The products they used were quite effective for the environmentally friendly type. They were very upfront this year about their auto-renewal policy, and gave me plenty of clear notice. I had some special requests this year and they were very responsive and helpful.

I called a number of companies to get a quote on capping my barbeque gas line while a new deck was being installed, and then replacing it with a new line. Mike at Home Air Systems was the only one who paid me the courtesy of responding to my inquiry. Am I glad he did! He and his assistant did a great job: the new installation is better-looking and more professional that we had before. They were friendly and efficient, and coordinated well with my deck contractors. I would certainly hire them again for any future larger job. Note the price I paid covered two visits.

Our new deck is composite with aluminum rails and a cedar privacy screen. Bob Robertson from Mississauga NW was friendly, knowledgeable, responsive, and a straight shooter right from the quotation phase through to the end of the project. It was very helpful to visit the Hickory Dickory showroom where decking materials are shown outdoors in the sun and rain, so we could see them as they would look installed. Fred and Art built our deck. They were diligent, hard workers who obviously had pride in workmanship. They did a fantastic job and were really nice guys, to boot. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

We got back from a January vacation on a Friday night to a very cold house. After an unsatisfactory call to another company, I called AtlasCare. They sent Dag Rummeda that night and he arrived exactly when promised. Dag gave a no-nonsense assessment and was very personable. Since our furnace was 21 years old we opted to replace it. Ron Robinson arrived the next morning, exactly when promised, to measure and assess our home and give us a quote. We decided to go ahead with AtlasCare, and they arrived first thing Monday morning, exactly when promised. McCloud, Dave D, and Venecio did a great job, the workmanship was top notch, and they were respectful of our house. McCloud explained the operation of the system to us and was a really nice guy! The furnace works great; haven't tried the air conditioner yet since it's still below zero outside. Everyone impressed us from start to finish.

Torwin has done work in our home on three different occasions, spanning several years, as we move towards fully replacing all our windows and doors. They have always done an excellent job and are friendly, professional, and helpful. The person that installed our blinds after one project even commented on the quality of the workmanship. In our latest project, Albino and his helper (sorry, didn't get his name!) kept right on working even through some nasty weather, and they were still pleasant about it and did a great job.
