Glenn does very high quality interior finishing; he has a strong eye for detail, and does things right the first time. A sixteenth out is not "good enough" for Glenn. and when he levels something, it is spot on. From crown moulding to window and door casings, to hanging new interior doors, to leveling out a new kitchen installation, and a hugely challenging replacement of a very old front entry door, everything Glenn did for us was top notch. He is patient, and thinks things through, and then does it right. I would highly recommend Glenn for any project where you want quality, and competitive cost. Don't bother getting quotes from others - not needed; Glenn should be your first choice.

I contacted Draincom based on the excellent reviews on this site, and I was not only satisfied, I was delighted with their service on all levels. From my first call with their highly professional and efficient front office person, Corie, to their outstanding plumbing professional Valentin who did the work. We were adding a second bathroom in the basement of our home, which involved not only tying in a new bath, seperate shower, sink and toilet to the existing system, but also getting through a good amount of 4+inch thick concrete slab, concrete block, and concrete footings. Valentin showed up the next day after my initial call to Draincom, and quickly assessed the scope and complexity, and actually suggested an alternative which would have been less costly. He provided on the spot a written quote, and while his alternative was an option I was fine with, he who knows best (my husband) decided he wanted the more complicated option. Draincom's quote was fair and competitive for the work involved, and we hired them immediately. I can't say enough about Valentin, his professionalism, the outstanding quality of the work he did, and his overall smarts and ability to get things done quickly. He is also one of the most charming and genuine human beings you are ever likely to meet. So hats off to Draincom - 10/10 on all levels, couldn't be happier with the entire experience. I will call Draincom, and request Valentin in particular, for all future needs, and wholeheartedly recommend both the company and Valentin to friends and family. Thank you!

I wanted to add this comment to my experience with Tops. I write this after reading the reviews for Tops: All but 2 give a "10" rating. In my experience with the owner of Tops (Brian), I will say this: he is a direct, straight shooting, fully accountable type of person, who owns his responsibilities, and expects others to do the same. So if you had a rotten deck and think that Brian is the type of guy you can push around and bully to have him take responsibility for this, don't bother. If you ran into his hoisting equipment, and want to try and blame him for this, don't bother. And if you didn't follow his recommendations, and then want to complain and blame him, don't bother. This company has done the roofs of many of my family and neighbours over the past 20 years. He is known for his knowledge, responsiveness and top quality work. But you can't push him around, and whiners and blamers who don't want to own their responsibilities should look elsewhere. On the other hand, if you want it done right, and you value directness, timeliness and someone who will tell you the straight goods, then you have found the right company.
