I had concerns about hazardous white pine leaning over my home from an adjacent yard for several years. One day I saw Rockwood working in my neighbourhood, and asked if someone could give an estimate. Rob came to evaluate the tree on the same day. He gave me detailed instructions on the permit process, and referred me to a forestry consultant for the required tree reports. The permit process with the city ended up taking 7 months, to no fault of Rockwood. Rob was incredibly helpful through the duration with helpful tips and connections to smooth out the process. When we finally got our permit, the crew @ Rockwood were fast, clean and safe. The other two neighbours involved were very happy with the service. The guys cut some beauty 8' logs for me that I've since had milled into slabs! Many thanks to Rob and the crew at Rockwood for a job well done!

Great northern insulation installed foam and attic cellulose in my new house project. Spray foam was applied throughout main floor, on a cathedral ceiling spec and on cantilevered soffit areas. They also sprayed all ductwork in the attic space. The installers were fast, thorough and clean. Minimal overspray (which was cleaned up after) and consistent application. I hired Grizzly plumbing & heating to install complete new plumbing for 1st/2nd floors, + tie into some existing basement equipment. Project included 3 baths, kitchen, laundry, backwater valve, and gas line/water heater work. Through the project I'm pretty sure I worked with their whole team at one point or another. Everyone who worked here was professional, clean, and had great advice on all aspects of the install. Scheduling was easy and the guys were always on time. I contacted Climax for a quote based on their great reviews. Sam came to do an estimate within a couple hours of my call. He had lots of great information about Enbridge rebate programs, and clearly explained different models of AC/Furnace & their warranties. Great communication re: scheduling the install. Sam's installers were fast and clean. They did a very tidy install in my tight mechanical room - intakes & exhaust pipes are routed smartly and previously poor access is much improved. This was the second and largest project David has completed for us in as many years. (previously: Detached garage drawings & permits). This project has been more of the same excellent design and collaboration. From our first meeting, to the presentation of his design, through to the permits being issued - David kept us updated and informed of progress. Questions were answered quickly. We contacted AC Electrical to have some fixtures installed and buzzing switches diagnosed. AC Electrical scheduled us within a week. The electrician (Steven) was fantastic. He installed all fixtures quickly, and repaired the suspect buzzing switches. Steven took time to explain what caused the issues and how he was correcting them. We have a future expansion in mind, and he gave us helpful suggestions on how to coordinate the electrical components into those plans. Booking an electrician for a such a small job was difficult. Thank you AC Electrical for returning our call. We will be contacting you for our larger project in the future!

I'm an ICI tradesman and work with some great draftsmen & project managers on a daily basis. I know a good set of drawings, and I know good management. David is the single best trade professional I have ever worked with. The drawings are exceptional. Details and notes are comprehensive. Correspondence was always clear and timely.
