I would gladly recommend Sparkle! They were very quick to respond and came the next day to repair some spots where my roof was leaking. (This is a contrast to the other companies that I am STILL waiting to hear back from or who were making it a much bigger job than it needed to be.) Jimmy and his team were efficient, located the trouble spots on the roof and took photos to show me what needed to be done. They then did the repairs quickly for a reasonable cost. I can say they live up to their other reviews.

I wasn't sure if I needed to worry about a noise coming from my basement faucet so called Waterworks. Michael came and quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue. I felt he was trustworthy and very knowledgeable. I would happily recommend this company, particularly as other companies, in the past, have tried to upsell or overdiagnose problems, resulting in wasted money. Not in this case. Michael showed me the part that he changed out so I could see for myself what was causing the problem. I would call them again for future plumbing needs.

I called during the busiest time of year (early December). They were very pleasant on the phone and made every effort to accommodate me, despite being so busy. There was a mix up with the visit date, but they showed good customer service, were very apologetic, and rectified the issue to my satisfaction - they prioritzed me and sent someone as soon as possible. Owen, who came to do the inspection, was extremely knowledgeable - took the time to teach me how to get the best out of my chimney and gave me tips (plus sent me an email with instructions). As it turned out that a cleaning was not necessary, but just an inspection and opening up, he reduced the price - which was very honest. I would gladly recommend A1.

I was impressed by the way that the crew worked, they were efficient, pleasant & clean. My mold was accurately diagnosed and taken care of, and I am happy to say we are mold-free. Ross (who initially came to diagnose the problem) was clear and straightforward, and addressed all my subsequent questions promptly and effectively). The people from The Mold Guy (staff in the office as well) understand customer service, and took care of any issues I had after the work was done, immediately. I would recommend this company (particularly as good customer service and follow-up is rare in this day & age). It is such a pleasure to live in my house now - the air is clean and my allergies are beginning to subside (thank God).

I am so happy with the service I received from Akram of PSS that I am writing this review. Akram came to take care of an ant (and other bug) problem that I had in my backyard. He was so thorough and detailed, took a long time to go over every inch of my back and front yard to ascertain the exact problem and then did the treatment. He poked in every hole and potential breeding place that he could find and went to work to rid my property of the bugs. This gentleman is very knowledgeable about insects - he is an entomologist who really understands the habits and lives of insects, so really knows how to solve the problem. I also found him to be a very honest, detailed and professional person, and would recommend him to anyone that wants the job done right the first time. He charged me a very good and fair price for the work done - especially in consideration of the time he took. Akram is the only person I will call in the furture if I have a pest control problem. p.s. At the end of the treatment he gave me a printout with details of the chemicals used - very useful in case of issues and for awareness of what was used around my home.

Akram from Pest Solution Services is the most knowledgeable person about insects I have ever met. He really know his stuff and therefore understands how the insects live/breed/infest and what to do about it. I called Akram because I was afraid that I had brought bed bugs back from a trip to China (I thought I had been bitten by bed bugs in a hotel there). At my home inspection, not only did Akram let me know that I do not have bed bugs, but he also explained that the bites I had in China (after looking at them) were not bed bug bites (probably fleas). Obviously I am delighted. I had him check out other bug problems that I have (ants/spiders/millipedes) and he gave me a comprehensive and clear course of action to follow. (He will be returning to do some spraying after I have completed some prep work). I was very impressed with Akram and would recommend him to anyone who wants an expert who will do the job right the first time.

I have water damage along one wall of my basement laundry room and called another company about a year ago that horrified me (the previous people from this other company had quoted me a job of almost $18,000 that involved digging up most of my backyard!). I looked into Homestars and after reading the excellent reviews for Clarke Basement Systems I called them. Roy came today and had a good look, tested the wetness of the area and told me that it was not a big problem at all, and that it was relatively simple and confined to the immediate area. He recommended what I should do, which was simple and easy. I was very impressed by the professionalism, courteousness and understanding that Roy displayed. He did not take advantage of the fact that I am not experienced and was honest about the situation. I truly appreciate this and will definitely tell all my friends that they are the people to call for basement issues, as they know they can trust them. If any future problems arise, they are the only people I will call. (p.s. The people I spoke to on the phone when making the inquiries and booking were very nice and professional as well.)

I was highly impressed with this company. Nev came to my house and inspected the situation (mold on ceiling in a bathroom and on walls in two bedrooms). Using a professional device he ascertained the exact situation and explained very clearly and in great detail what my problem was and how to go about fixing it. The work was scheduled for within a few days and the team arrived on time and set to work immediately. Great care was taken to isolate affected areas and the team worked straight through from morning to late evening - not even stopping for lunch! They were all very polite, professional, thorough and clean, tidying up well after themselves. They left an air cleaner for the next two days to ensure that the air did not retain any particles of mold. I would highly recommend Nevo and his team for any mold problems you may have. Not only did Nev explain the problem, he also taught me all about mold, how it grows and how to prevent it in my home. I now feel extremely clear about everything. He also recommended companies to do follow up contracting work. I felt that the price was reasonable and feel secure that my problem has been taken care of.

I selected WaterWorks from the many good reviews on Homestars to check if I had a leak in my house or if my water meter was faulty. I was extremely happy with their customer service (very rare nowadays) - they really stand by their promises - and Craig (who was sent to my house) was wonderful. Very thorough, professional, polite and intelligent. He checked every sink and toilet and found two small leaks. Not only did he do what was asked, he also tightened loose faucets and cleaned out a slow moving drain. I would highly recommend WaterWorks and will definitely use them every time I have a plumbing need.

I found Red Robin on Homestars and chose this company and another for quotes after reading the reviews. I was struck by the honest, professional manner when I spoke to Dave and chose Red Robin over the other company as he seemed to have the best and most cost-effective recommendations for my repairs. The work was handled efficiently and the quality of work was first rate. I felt that a lot of care was put into the job. I have now booked for them to return later this month for a large repair, as I am confident that they will do a good job.
