Very seldom does a persons' expectations get exceeded - my experience with Imran was one of those times. We have two gas log fireplaces in our house and it was obvious to me that they had rarely or never been serviced prior to the three years we have been living in our home. Then they started acting up and I knew it was time so I did a simple search on google and Imran and his company, Gas Fireplaces Services and Repairs, came up. His reviews were unbelievable and after reading them I said to myself "this is the guy" and did not even look any further. I emailed him and he called me back the next day: we eventually settled on a Sunday. He showed up at the promised time and had a look at the fireplaces and explained to me the potential problems. He then asked me if I wanted to proceed and my answer was "for sure, let's get it done". Imran was meticulously clean and tidy and watching him work I could see his passion for his chosen trade. As it turns out and as I expected, my fireplaces were in pretty rough shape and I needed to replace a sensor on one fireplace and remote ignition boxes on both fireplaces. He spent 15 minutes trying to salvage/repair the ignition boxes so I would not have to replace them but in the end I said to Imran "it's time, you can't do anymore for those ignition switches as their maker is calling them home so lets just replace them". Imagine that, someone trying to save you money. After cleaning the entire fireplace from top to bottom and side to side he then reassembled the fireplace logs and parts after checking that every component to ensure they were in proper and SAFE working condition. Once that was done, he then did some marvellous touch ups on the fireplaces with his "Magic Can" and voila, my fireplaces worked perfectly like never before and they looked beautiful to boot. It's extraordinarily rare to meet such a fine person and he happens to be the same guy who came and repaired and renewed the life of our fireplaces. I contacted the owner of Pre-Lock, Paul Seidman, based on the recommendation of a good friend. We were looking to upgrade all the locks in our house and needed expert advice. I contacted Paul and arranged for him to come to our home to provide a free estimate. Paul's knowledge was incredible and he explained how we could improve the security of our house by tenfold. We ultimately settled on a series of Medeco locks and other reinforcements for the doors. We were then contacted by his site coordinator and arranged a time for installation. His installer arrived at the time specified by his coordinator and then he reviewed exactly what he was going to do on each door. He was extremely professional, courteous and neat. In a matter of 2 hours he was done and had gone the extra step of adjusting all the doors so they closed even better than before. I am beyond satisfied with the work done by Paul and his team. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a professional locksmith.
