Brick The

We renovated an entire home and purchased ALL our appliances from The Brick. The stove wasn't suitable for the space (never used), only to be told appliances are not returnable.

Bought full set of bedroom furniture and mattress, "tricked" into buying the cover for the mattress that won't even fit the mattress. Tried to return it as NO-FIT but their policy - unadvertised when bought - says you can return mattress pads, pillows, etc. Poor salesman, whatever - looser number 1 of about 150CAD...
Bought full extended warranty, called for damage repair covered under warranty but...I'm still calling will be my 4th time today as the person I initially talked to and sent pictures to is conveniently working on the other shift every time I call?!?! and they never called back yet as promised. Looser number 2? may be - we shall see...regardless of all these I'm gone and will stay away from them forever but from where to buy now that they were bough by another company which are not better.

I'm speechless. Never had worse service. A month ago I bought a bed frame. I came back to the store in 5 days to return it. The Brick representative told me that it is not possible while eating a banana. I asked why. He continued to eat a banana replied that this is a "Brick Policy". I've written to Brick 5(!) time just to discuss this strange situation and weird customer service but never got a reply. Tried to call them but the waiting time is ridiculous. This is my first and last experience with Brick. Never again!

Purchased a couch September 9th. Arrival date promised was September 21st. Today is October 19th and it has still not arrived. They have changed dates, pickup locations and delivery locations several times. Sales rep is always “on lunch” or “busy” when calls have been made to discuss the delays. If this purchase was not a present from a loved one, Sales rep and store would be set on fire already. May still happen.

Purchased Washer,dryer&fridge - salesman included $15 hoses - discovered I needed steel belted hoses because if washer location - when returned $15 hoses was told no refund - pd $2200 and no refund for $15 - did get refund after manager approved - took 30 minutes. Then didn't give me my original receipt back for the $2200 - had to go back & only gave me a printed receipt from the computer that was different than my original - sales person good, delivery good but this experience & receipt change will not buy there again.

We purchased a kitchen set at The Brick in Edmonton, a buffet/counter table and some corresponding coffee tables we thought looked nice and appeared to be of good quality. We also were strongly encouraged to purchase the "5 Year Blanket Coverage" warranty and the "Master Surface Coverage" plan. Within the warranty period, all the "leather" (fake leather) came apart, split and cracked.

The table showed a LOT of wear and tear, and had places with the "solid wood table" we bought, had laminate that was peeling away from sides and chipping off the corners. We were literally told that "we could always sand and re-stain the table" if wear and tear became an issue for appearance but if we were otherwise still happy with the furniture.

Impossible to do that with laminated furniture. BRUTAL. The entire set has been disappointing and now The Brick is failing to honour the warranty, saying that this deterioration is "normal wear and tear" -if The Brick in Edmonton considers this "normal wear and tear" to dishonour the warranty, then either The Brick in Edmonton sells garbage furniture, or The Brick in Edmonton sells warranty that is not worth the paper it is written on. Warranty purchased: "Master Surface Coverage" and "5YR Blanket Coverage"

I paid for a new fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher in full and scheduled a delivery for two months later. You would think that would give them plenty of time to get the order right, but they ended up cancelling once and then delivering over five hours after the scheduled delivery time.

Then, to top it off, they refused to take the door off of the fridge door to get it into our house and left with it, so the fridge was only delivered another two days afterward.

We ended up having to throw out over $200 in fresh produce and The Brick refused to do anything to compensate us. Their customer service was even nasty and rude on the phone.

I will never order anything from this garbage company ever again. And I will tell everyone I know about my experience.

Worst furniture company ever!!! They befool people by organizing mega sales and sending broken furniture to them. Booked my home furniture a month ago and received broken headboards and dining chairs for the third time!!!

Still waiting for their responses... Extremely poor customer service!!

Upon purchasing a power recliner, power love seat, New 55" TV with sound bar and extra speakers, as well as a full bedroom set. we had kindly asked at the customer service counter would the brick move out old love seat to the garage upon delivery of our new furniture.. The answer was: "without a doubt"...... great! Or so we thought..
After having th bedroom set delivered, we learnt the guys delivering it were supposed to assemble it (this did not happen, I assembled it). But they were however kind enough to scratch, dent and mark up my Allah through out the house while bringing it to the room. And this isn't even the worst!!
The couches which we had to wait a week and half finally came, I greeted the employee at the door and asked him if we could move the love seat (as promised by the store) to get the others in (I'd help lift... his answer "I'm not doing that"... I simply asked how come the store told me you would? He said "dunno" and stood there with his muddy shoes on in my living room.. I said ok no problem but I will need to contact the store to see what to do now because
I can't lift this myself... he stood there crating an extremely hostile environment when out of no where said "have a good day sir" walked out and slammed the door, he then proceeded to drive off with my couches and dresser... the brick called and said we would have to wait another week for a delivery.. so would I recommend this company , absolutely not!!! They don't care about the customer they don't when or IF you get your products.. and their customer service is by far the worst.. I haven't even been treated this bad at a fast food joint let alone a place where we just dropped $7000..... unreal!

The brick has to have the worst service imaginable. They have no care or respect for their customers. I have been waiting for the chairs I purchased from Windsor Ontario Brick for almost 3 months. And every time they are to blame for a situation they spin it back around to blame the customer. The brick should really invest in better customer service.
