To say Im disappointed in the customer service I received from Home Style Furniture would be an understatement. My order was supposed to be delivered in 3-6 weeks and 3 months later Im still waiting. Phone calls to the online store go to voicemail and no one ever returns my calls. If you can find the item youre looking for at ANY other company then please do yourself a favour and order it from that company. I definitely regret making a purchase from this outfit.

I shopped online then went to a local store to view. Home Style Furniture was the least expensive. I was apprehensive because of the bad reviews. I saved $1,300.00
I asked how long it would take and I was told approximately two weeks. I ordered it April 25 and received it May 5. They called me a few days before delivery. Then they called me 10 minutes before delivery. They were quick and efficient.
I only had one issue with the chest of drawers. The bottom part where the leg screws into was not attached properly to the base. I fixed it myself with two wood screws.
Im very happy with the purchase.
Im just waiting for my mattress that I ordered locally.

Waited for 2 months to get a dinning table, every time I call they keep to me telling me I will get it every weekend. Customer services are rude! They talk in a rude way via emails. This is the worst experience I had ever! Do not buy from this website!!!!

Okay - so I ordered a 5 piece sectional in April. Before ordering, I saw the negative reviews and reached out to Home Style to inquire on how long it will take to get the couch. Gary was honest and said it would probably be 4 months. This was fine - I understood that during COVID inventory is low and most places are closed. Most of my friends waited 7-9 months for tables and couches from other stores. This is just the current climate and we have to adjust our expectations. I didn't sell my current couch and was okay to wait until the new one arrived.

I follow up in the beginning of August and Gary tells me to call back in a couple of weeks and I do. He is polite and honest. There is only so much he can do and quite honestly, YOU ARE GETTING A SIGNIFICANT DISCOUNT BUYING FROM THEM. The same couch somewhere else is $3,500 and I got it for $2,700 with Home Style. Long story short, I got 4/5 pieces of my sectional by the end of August and I received the 5th piece a few days ago (2 weeks after I got the first delivery). Overall, it took about 4-5 months to get the couch but that seems to be the standard especially with popular furniture.

You also have to understand that you are notified that it is CURB SIDE. This should not come as a shock, you are not really paying the full price so really, you get what you pay for. The only thing I was kind of annoyed at was that the night before my delivery I was told that I would only get 4/5 pieces and when I was getting my 5th piece, the delivery was delayed for a few days. Delivery can be anytime during the day so just make sure you're home, I would get notified of their eta and they would be there within the time frame. I also live downtown and they managed, big kudos to the second delivery men - they were very nice and helpful. Again, in the grand scheme of things a little delay here and there is really no big deal.

My takeaway from this experience, if you have patience and can wait on some furniture - this is your place. Sure, you don't get the white glove service but you get good furniture at a discounted price. What put me at ease is that most people I know had to wait almost a year for some furniture and they were purchased from big box stores. I also understand that Gary could only do so much, I think if you show respect and understanding, that same energy is reciprocated. I would also recommend reaching out to Gary before you purchase to see if your item is in stock and if not, what the time frame looks like so you won't be disappointed. All in all, we are happy with our couch and were happy to pay $3k with tax all in.

Ordered a dinning set table delivered in 7 days chairs took 4 months to finally arrive phoned many times told a assortment of laughable stories each person puts the blame on someone else. Told they would phone me back with answers still waiting delivery was also a joke 2 hours later than delivery window driver said he was 10 min away 1 hour later he arrived and sat in condominium driveway for another 1 hour after delivery if you want a terrible furniture experience then deal with home style furnishings or just go somewhere else

We ordered a dresser from Home Style Furniture. Delivery was delayed by several weeks. When it was finally ready for delivery, they called and left an incoherent message. We tried calling back and couldn't get through. Delivery guy showed up the next day in the pouring rain without calling first. Then he literally dropped the dresser off the truck bed (looked like about 4ft high)! I mean it was a huge crash! He told us it'll be fine and left our dresser there getting soaked in the pouring rain. Unbelievable.

Stay away. Horrible quality. I purchased a sofa set for 999$ before tax last January, it was covered in pills and fuzz-balls within a month and now it looks as if we have been using it for 5 decades. We just purchased a sofa from the Brick for a similar price, and we cannot even get rid of the set, no one wants to buy it, it looks that worn!

Stay far, FAR away from this business. I would give 0 stars if I could. The sales service is absolutely horrific. I ordered a sofa back in February and was told it would come within two weeks. Three weeks later it was radio silence, so I got in touch. I was told there were delays due to covid and it would now be coming at the end of March. Meanwhile, I had sold our old sofa, so we were now without furniture. No worries - I understand that there are delays in supply chain at the moment and it's out of their hands. This was until I checked in again at the end of March and was told it would be until end of April. I just messaged to get a confirmation of delivery date and was told it will now be June.

When I explained (for the fourth time) to customer service that we are without furniture due to their initial error in communication, I was rudely told that "a couple" does not mean two weeks. Further, despite being promised that I would be the first to receive the product when it came in due to the misinformation, he let me know that the first orders had just gone to folks who had been waiting since LAST SUMMER. The rep was extremely condescending while cancelling my order. No apologies, no effort to make it right. Don't touch this place.

I ordered a side coffee table in November 2020. It came damaged and I requested a replacement. 3 months later they sent the wrong replacement piece when they were supposed to have replaced the whole table. After requesting another replacement, I'm still waiting and their Customer Service rep, Gary is no longer answering my emails. So it's been 6 months since I've paid for table that I still don't have. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
