We wanted to purchase shutters for the home we had moved into. We found that Star Custom Shutters had good reviews and provided a better price than other places, so we decided to give them a try. The people we interacted with throughout were friendly and professional, from when we first visited the head office to learn about the product, to the person they sent to measure our windows and give us a quote, to the people who came to do the installation. It took three months from the time we ordered the shutters to when they were able to install them, because they have so many orders to fill. However, we have been satisfied so far with the quality and look of the shutters we got. I would recommend Star Custom Shutters for their quality shutters which they sell at a reasonable price.

Wooden shutters are amazing,great workmanship,did not know what we were missing all these years.

very nicely done and the price is reasonable, 50% cheaper than other quotes. good quality. my windows and patio door look beautiful. the guys came in today to fix the shutters.thank you star's custom shutters team.very impressed with the guy that came to negotiate the deal and measurement( Andy Pham) nice guy . will surely call you guys for another project. One of my husbands friend will be calling you guys next week at least.

Great quality and great service.
Andy the salesman and the installers were super friendly. We had 40 windows done by them and they were speedy. They managed to install blinds on windows that I couldn't even reach before to clean! The blinds took 2 weeks to manufacture. Two did not fit so they took them back and they rectified the problem right away. A gentleman came back within a few days and installed the two remaining blinds in a few minutes. We would definitely use them again or recommend them to a friend.

We are very happy with our shutters. Always on time, from the in-home consultation to installation. Out of several companies we contacted, Star's gave us the best price for shutters with great quality. Bill was very helpful and knowledgeable. Installation went smoothly. No complaints at all. We will surely contact them again in the future for our second floor windows.

Excellent service from Star Custom Shutters. Bill explained their products and gave us a pretty good quote for 19 windows and a patio door. We visited their factory as well to have a look where Cathy explained their process. The measurement and installation guys were excellent .. on time, very polite and very professional .. very satisfied with their job ..

We had wood shutters installed throughout our home back in Oct 2013 (15 windows and 1 patio door). We had brought in a few contractors for quotes and ended up going with Star's because they were friendly to deal with and had a price matching policy. The whole process from quote to installation took about 3 weeks. Now 1.5 years later we are still satisfied with our purchase. The shutters look great and no sun damage has occurred; only some paint chipping from wear and tear. Would recommend them to my friends.

Edit: Immediately after this review was posted, I received a call from Star's saying that they would like to send a technician to touch-up the chipped paint as per their warranty. I declined (no time right now), but this shows they care a lot about their reputation and customer satisfaction even after the sale. Thanks Star's! I may take you up on your offer later.

I did my homework and chose Star shutters to do wood shutters in my house. They very punctual, reasonably priced and professional. Installation was fast and smooth. Very happy with the whole experience.

I did a lot of research before choosing Star Custom Shutters.
Got quotes from different vendors and read all the reviews as I had to do for entire house. I even liked sunrise custom shutters but finally went with Star Custom Shutters because after visiting their factory they explained in detail. Andy & Cathy was the guys I was dealing with and they were good.. All the staffs who work there were very helpful during my visit.
The installation was great, three guys came on time and did their job professional with less than 2 hrs. Since they were very fast I was worried whether they are doing it in urgent ,but I was wrong.

Do visit them in their factory to understand their work as they are in the industry for 25 yrs. They say 25 yrs of warranty..hope they stick to it. Good job guys.

I did quite a bit of research on company's that offered shutters and Star Custom Shutters is the best in terms of value, quality and customer service! From beginning to end, the service was superb and their attention to detail was immaculate. The best part of the service was that they delivered on their promise. They said they would be at my home for 11:30 am and they arrived promptly. They exceeded my expectations by finishing at least 1-2 hrs. ahead of time than they had quoted. In addition, they took the time to review the work they had done and reminded me of the 25 year warranty. I would definitely recommend Star Custom Shutters to my friends and family.
