Award Windows

We had all award windows installed in our house.The first thing we noticed was they frosted over every winter for the last 10 Ten years .the company sent out people to investigate the problem.They said the little vents out side and one window crank were not working.Next cold snap some problem. Ten years later we still have the same problem and on top of that the seal in both bedroom windows and one side window have failed and water is building up between the glass panes

Installation was on time but 1 window was broken and 1 screen door had a latch problem. new window was order but took a long time coming and the new installers were poor. the screen door was eventually adjusted by the manufacturer under warranty.

Worst decision ever!! Had 12 windows, 3 doors replaced. Had countless "sevice" calls for the doors due to not sealing properly, windows don't seal properly. Service "tech" didn't know how to remove the door hardware..caught him trying to pry the door knob off with a screwdriver. 1 window and 1 door were 3 months late, door was wrong type, opened wrong way, and frame out of square.. They replaced the frame, and flipped the door. First winter the glass in the door shattered, frame leaked. Had the door and frame replaced by another company. If I could replace all the windows I would!!! Customer service has been lacking, wish I would have gone with another company.

saw this company at the show last year, picked up a brochure and called them later that month. I replaced both front and back doors. The service rep. was great as were the installers. They were on time, cleaned up the mess and gone all in one day.
I would highly reccomend them and I would use them again myself.

Ii am very happy with the products and impresed with their services.The service department were prompt with placing their service techs. The service tech came to our house for a few times already, always greet us with a big smile.

We decided to repalace our large fixed windows with double hung sliders to improve air flow in our south west facing home. We decided on Award as they made and instaled their windows and felt it would be easier if there was an issue. Within a couple of weeks we noticed gaps around the sliders, afre a struggle to get someone out to inspect they decided they has used the wrong size weather stripping and replaced it on the lower windows. A year later the upper sliders leak to the point you can see outside, Awards response was they were outside warrenty so would not even inspect.
Will never buy from them again
