The Worst Delivery System ever

I arrive at the shop and before the shop, I went to the Pro Desk and ask if they could deliver it, on April 17, and they said yes, we can. That being said I spend more than four hours buying stuff for a job. I made a substantial shop at Home Depot Polo Park Winnipeg and I had a delivery scheduled for today (April 17th). I stayed on site all day long with my crew to start the job and nothing was delivered.
I left the site frustrated and around 6:30 pm the owner called me and said, nothing was delivered yet.
I called Home Depot and I was very treated with a total lack of care with the customer.
The manager said the driver couldn't deliver because of some road restriction. I said, but you do not have a procedure if the driver cannot deliver, he calls to the customer? Doesn't he call the shop and then the shop call the customer to give him the panorama of the situation? She had no answer to that, only said the driver suppose to call. I asked about my material she said the material had come back to the store and again I asked " what is the procedure? Do nothing and wait for the customer to get crazy looking for their material? I tried to explain about the crew was there and I pay them hourly and they will be there again on Sunday and with no material, has nothing to do!!! I explain the crew refuses other jobs to be with me and now if I cancel I have to pay them anyway!! She said: we will not compensate you for that and you can cancel the order whenever you want.
I decided to buy the material after Home Depot confirm they can deliver and then, they do not deliver.
Let's summarize:
I did all my job, asked first, did the shop, pay for everything.
The driver said has a Road Restriction but did not call me to notify me about it. By the way, I have received other deliveries today and no one road restriction was identified.
the driver return to the shop and said it to the manager.
the manager did not call me to give me some info or even to apologize for the huge inconvenience and try to solve the problem that, by the way, was not generated by me.
I call to the shop to try to figure out what happened and instead to receive a gentle explanation about what happened I got very, rude, unprofessional, and neglected treatment.
This is not the first time it happened to me on deliveries from Home Depot.
This is the way you treat the clients that prefer to buy in your store? That is the best that you can do?
