I tried to buy bird friendly film for my windows and ordered online but was charged in $US rather than $CDN. When I questioned this Dean wouldn't respond. I phoned and talked with Dave an employee who refunded my money. Dean wouldn't respond further to any of my questions.

We are incredibly thrilled with the excellent work that Neil and his team from Apex Window Films did on our windows.

Our downtown Toronto 100+ semi-detached Victorian house was just renovated and we needed to find a creative solution to address the privacy concerns we had with a few windows in the house. One window is in the bathroom and the other window faces directly into the window of our next door neighbour. Thank god I stumbled across Apex Window Films' extensive website which included a large number of samples of all different kinds of window films for residential and commercial uses; both for privacy purposes as well as security purposes. Neil came to the house for an on-site visit and we discussed the various options. He was very knowledgeable and was able to provide valuable guidance, based on our needs.

For consistency, we finally selected the fading blinds privacy film for the 2 windows which lets the light in but maintains our privacy. We also installed transparent security film on our new French doors leading out to the deck which is strong enough to discourage attempts at breaking and entering. In addition, to avoid having our bay windows in the family room totally exposed during the day time, we also had a transparency film installed with a 20% mirror effect that addresses this issue. You can't even tell that there is anything on the windows but the 20% mirror effect is just enough to provide us with a modicum of privacy during the daytime.

Rather than installing the window films ourselves, we arranged for Apex Window Films' installers to handle that. They were very polite, professional and efficient and did an amazing job.

I was pleasantly surprised that Apex's quote was so reasonable. It was truly great value for excellent work that only enhances our house.

We are very grateful to Neil and the Apex team for doing a top-notch job. Neil followed up with me afterwards by phone to ensure that the installation went well and to confirm whether we had any issues. Now that's great service!

The window film used in my home is of great quality. The price was more than reasonable and the service that I received was excellent. I originally contacted Apex for security films on my windows. The staff arrived when they said they would and were considerate by cleaning up after themselves when they had finished the installation. I was very impressed by their professionalism that I contacted them again for a DIY privacy film install on my bathroom and upper hallway windows. The staff took the time to walk me through and demonstrate how to install the film. They also took the time to contact me after my install to see how it went. Hi: I need to thank Apex Window Films for their great service again. We used Apex seven years ago( my friend introduced them to us) at our house, we had a terrible problem with heat coming in our west facing windows. They gave us a simple and cost effective solution, that made a huge difference for us, we recently move into condo and found ourselves in a similar situation. we were happy to find that Apex again. The sales guy named Dean. He is very patient and listening to our opinions and needs. Our condo board would only allow neutral looking window coverings. He showed us some high-tech almost invisible heat blocking film that works amazingly. I highly recommend this Company to everyone, They know their stuff and very nice.

I have a house with family room and eat-in area facing west and the electricity demand remained high during summer until I got put on with Apex Windows Films. Apex helped me to choose the right product and was contracted to install the solar control films for my house. Its team was very accommodating and professional. I have a two-storey unit with about 80 feet of floor-to-ceiling windows. Unfortunately they all face West. For eight months of the year the heat transfer was unbelievable, even with two heat pumps running around the clock, and dual motorized sun shades and black out blinds. I called Neil, arranged an appointment, and he arrived exactly when he said he would. He took the measurements, narrowed down the choices for me (which was helpful since there were so many types of film), and two weeks later his installers showed up and handled the job like pros. They weren't the friendliest pair of guys, but after wasting so much of my life on chatty tradesmen, I kind of appreciated their "all business" attitude. Well, the payoff has been amazing. Neil claimed the tint would reduce heat transfer by 50%, so I was hoping for 30% at best. But he wasn't padding the numbers. If you crack the sliding door and stand in the direct sunlight, then close it and stand behind the tint, the difference is truly amazing. I've spent hundreds of thousands getting my condo into shape, and I can easily say that--dollar for dollar--this is the best money I've ever spent. If you're having trouble with heat, or if you have nice furniture you don't want faded, call these guys. They're reasonable, professional, and the results are worth every penny.

I would recommend Apex film hands down. They use an excellent product for window security film, they are reasonably priced and all their people know what they are doing and act professionally. We used another company to install window film at our previous house and the difference in the quality and the installation of the film is like night and day. The Apex installers did an excellent, really clean, bubble free and precise install. They also protected the wood floors while they did it. And what the caulking guy Dave doesn't know about caulking isn't worth talking about! I have never seen such neat, straight line caulking anywhere! In addition, Derek, who booked our appointments really put himelf out to make sure we had the whole job finished before we went away. After a recent break-in this gave us real peace of mind.
