Would you buy a house to tear it down?
We did! And we did it all with the help of Dyet Designs. We chose Dyet Designs because of their reputation. We had a large undertaking and a small budget so we needed a professional. The entire job went very well. We had a few setbacks due to materials not being shipped on time/unavailable for the time required but overall Dyet Design worked very fast and efficiently. We really appreciated Dyet Designs helping us with a huge design flaw. You see the designer (another company) only allowed for four chairs in the great room, also known as the living room. Our great room is where we planned to have our great fireplace. Can you imagine?? Four chairs!!! Steve, the Site Foreman of Dyet Designs, sat down with us planned an alternative to fix this huge problem. When I say huge, it was. You see we already had the concrete poured for the the fireplace and a good chunk of the framing already done. Eliminating the fireplace was not an option to us. Steve and my husband were able to come up with a new design that would please everyone. Essentially what we had, is a renovation to be done at the same time as we were doing this new build. One of the bathrooms had to be relocated, the stairs had to be re-jigged, and the pantry had to be reduced slightly and shifted over. All of this to increase the size of the great room to allow for two large sofas, two armed chairs and of course, the main feature of the the room, the fireplace. This was no quick fix but Dyet Designs handled it very well and in the end the results were absolutely beautiful!! Thank you Dyet Designs
